Chris MacFarland joined Masergy as Chief Operating Officer in 2008 and was promoted to CEO and Executive Chairman. Prior to joining Masergy he has served in various senior executive positions at BroadSoft McLeodUSA Allegiance Telecom Verio OnRamp CompuNet and Compu-Tek International.
Chris was selected as a 2017 Glassdoor Employees Choice Top CEO Tech Titans CEO of the Year for 2016 and Ernst amp; Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2015 for the Southwest region. Chris currently serves on the board of directors for Compass Data Centers Linear Labs and Tech Titans.
Chris is passionate about community service and has championed numerous charitable and outreach programs including as a board member of the Warrior Family Network and International Student Foundation. He attended the University of Texas at Arlington where he majored in Computer Science and Engineering.

Rob Bodnar has served as Masergys Chief Financial Officer and Secretary since August 2005 and was additionally named Executive Vice President in July 2010. In addition to leading the finance accounting and legal organizations at Masergy Rob is responsible for capital formation strategy investor relations and directing Mamp;A activities.
Prior to Masergy Rob served as Vice President and CFO at Covaro Networks a manufacturer of networking hardware which was sold to ADVA Optical Networking in 2006. Previously Rob worked in a variety of senior financial and accounting positions at Metera Networks Spaghetti Warehouse restaurants and KPMG. Rob holds an MBA from Baylor University and a bachelors in business administration from Texas Aamp;M University.

Maria Gotes is Masergys Chief Human Resources Officer. She heads up the global human resources organization and is responsible for leading inclusive HR and Talent strategies while preserving Masergys dynamic corporate culture.
Gotes brings more than 15 years of experience heading human resource teams. She has held senior positions and has demonstrated success in executing human capital strategies full talent cycle Mamp;A and organizational scaling for growth at a number of leading technology companies.
Gotes holds an MBA and Bachelors of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from Arizona State University. She is also a Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) Senior Certified Professional.
Chief Operating Officer
Todd Lechtenberg is Masergys Chief Operating Officer. Todd is responsible for the companys Network and Security Operations Service Delivery and Access Management organizations. He is a respected industry leader in the field of global operations network services and network optimization with 25 years experience in the technology and telecommunications industry.
Prior to joining Masergy he served in various senior leadership positions at Windstream PAETEC McLeodUSA and technology consulting. He began his career at WilTel and MCI Communications. Todd is an entrepreneur and holds a degree in accounting from Oklahoma State University.
Chief Technology Officer
Terry Traina is the Chief Technology Officer and has been with Masergy since 2004. Terry leads various teams including research and development platform architecture software engineering and product development. Terry has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry specializing in building and managing everything from enterprise software-defined networks to routing and switching platforms.
Prior to joining Masergy Terry has held various technical positions at Chiaro Networks Allied Riser Communications and EDS. Terry holds a bachelors of science in electrical engineering from the University of Southwestern Louisiana.
General Counsel amp; Secretary
Jeff Walker has served as general counsel and secretary since June 2017. He leads the legal team and is responsible for enterprise legal matters including transactions litigation IP real estate labor and employment and corporate governance. Jeff has more than 20 years of experience as in-house counsel in the telecommunications energy and retail industries.
Prior to joining Masergy Jeff served as in-house counsel for Energy Future Holdings Corp. RadioShack Corp. The Bombay Company Excel Communications eMeritus Communications and VarTec Telecom. Jeff holds a bachelors of business administration from Baylor University and a juris doctor from Louisiana State University.
Chief Marketing Officer
Rebecca (Becky) Carr heads up Masergys global marketing organization and is responsible for driving its growth strategy creating demand elevating brand awareness and consideration and creating differentiated experiences that result in client loyalty.
Becky has more than 25 years of sales and marketing experience across technology software and consumer brands. Prior to joining Masergy she was the Global Head of Marketing at Avaya. She has also held Chief Marketing Officer positions at CoStar Savvis/CenturyLink and Foxwoods Resort amp; Casino and led global business marketing for Verizon Business/MCI. Becky began her career in telecom with Cable amp; Wireless.
Becky earned her bachelor of arts from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva NY.

Mark brings 25+ years of industry expertise to Masergy. Prior to his current role Mark held several senior sales leadership positions at PAETEC Communications and Windstream Communications. He has deep expertise in optimizing sales performance and his passion for success is the foundation of the culture for the Masergy sales organization. He holds a B.A. in Finance from Rider University and continuing studies in Executive Leadership Management from University of North Carolina – Kenan-Flagler Business School.
SVP Channel Sales
Jim Glackin serves as Masergys SVP of Global Channels leading Masergys channel sales strategy. He develops and maintains partnerships with leading organizations focused on IT service excellence and is responsible for Masergys partner community adding new channels routes to market and deepening alliance relationships. Under Jims leadership Masergy fosters an ecosystem of shared success for partners across the globe.
Jim brings more than 25 years of experience as a sales executive and Channel Strategist. He started his channel management career at ATamp;T in the Alliance Program serving in positions including Channel Sales Manager for South Florida Director of the ATamp;T Remarketer Program and the Alliance Channel Director for the Midwest. He then joined CenturyLink where he served as Channel Director Area Vice President and VP of Strategic Partners. Jim lives in Chicago with his wife Natalia.
