Michael founded Metropolis Creative in 1999. Michael is currently an instructor at Northeastern University and has taught at Bentley University. Speaking engagements include The Boston Chamber of Commerce the Mass Health Data Consortium and The Enterprise Center. Michael holds a BFA in Graphic Design from Rochester Institute of Technology and has won numerous design awards. Michael actively supports the entrepreneurial and startup community by participating as a mentor with MITX Up and OpenHub. He also runs Boston#39;s annual Extreme Website Makeover event which supports local startups and non-profit organizations. When not at work Michael enjoys painting brewing beer and playing hockey.
Matt joined the Metropolis family after earning his BS in Graphic Design from Mount Ida College. Hes passionate about great user experiences and dark roast coffee. His approach with each project is tailored towards the brand#39;s goals and target audiences for a purposeful outcome. On the weekends you may find him hiking in the woods fishing for bass shooting his bow or kicking back in the hammock.
John received his BFA in Graphic Design from Northeastern University. With a background in design John brings a unique perspective to website development by pushing the boundaries of user experience interactivity and functionality to build creative and contemporary websites. Outside of the office he designs and manufactures wallets and other leather goods by hand for customers around the world. He also enjoys cooking his parrot (Toby) and being mediocre at playing the guitar.
Lizzy is the most recent team member to join Metropolis. Lizzy received her BFA at Flagler College in sunny Saint Augustine Florida. She has a constant desire and drive to learn make create inspire and be inspired. In her free time you can find Lizzy at the beach hiking or at home crafting anything she can get her hands on from mosaics to welding to designing jewelry.
