What issue was the provider supposed to deal with?
Peeklogic, LLC?When our in-house Salesforce Developer left the structure we struggled to staff a local resource to handle our Sales Cloud customization. We reached out to many developers and outgrowth firms, but most were averse to work on a livelihood and overhaul project. Peeklogic was able and ready to jump in and help out.
What were your objectives for this project?
We needed to update our Salesforce instrumentation in a very brief time of time (less than a month) to fit to our new Sales Processes (moving from a semi-structured sales process to a multi-tiered, wonderfully structured sales process). As with any reorg/restructure there are unforeseen hiccups – Peeklogic was able to fit with us and work at our blistering pace.
Provided solution
What were the reasons for choosing Peeklogic, LLC?
Researched online contract platforms (e.g. Upwork) to find interested parties (20% achievement rate). Sent code test to assess abilities (25% pass rate). Put each fitted aspirant/team through 2 week test time of reduced hours (50% achievement rate). We are currently working with three vendors, each servicing a different wing of the structure: Marketing, Sales, Service – Peeklogic handles Sales, by far the more hard to handle due to the condition of the code written precedently them.
Describe the project and the services they granted in detail.
Review existing apex classes, visualforce pages, workflows, and configurations. Offer suggestions for improving existing instrumentation. Review change requests for technical viability and instrument them. Handle v1.1, v1.2, v2, v3 changes to requests in early mode (frequently same-day). At a high level, we updated our sales process, nomenclature, kpis, and cadence. Peeklogic was responsible for coding the true updates to support these changes.
Were there any dedicated handlers or teams that you worked with?
Team consisted of business stakeholder (Director of Sales), myself (as Technical Architect), QA Specialist (for testing functionality, though this role didn',t come in until half-way through the process), and 2-3 Peeklogic resources.
Results achieved
Can you share any information that demonstrates the contact that this project has had on your business?
All Sales Reporting drives from the changes instrumented by Peeklogic, from 1-1 meetings with Sales Reps all the way up to C-suite roundtables.
How was project handlement arranged and how powerful was it?
Project was spec',d in a semi-agile order w/ little deliverables scoped in Trello cards. Communication took locate on Trello cards for easier reference to ongoing efforts. Trello board was broken into Backlog >, Spec',d >, On Deck >, Active >, Ready for Test >, Business Review >, Complete with Peeklogic responsible for moving cards from On Deck to Active to Ready for Test to Business Review as required.
What precisely do you attend to be the key specialty of Peeklogic, LLC?
Flexibility and readyness to get into it. Original contract was only for 20 hours per week - however true weeks of the project required 40-60 hours of outgrowth time. They juggled their resources to convenience our requirements.
What should be done better, if there are any desired advancements?
Most areas of advancement are reciprocal. For sample, we only recently moved to an enterprise outgrowth process (precedently relying on changesets). This caused some effect with code review and deployment cadence but was shared defect. Though, where they could most better is surfacing best practices and being more diligent in interacting true updates to stakeholders. There were a number of briefcomings in the code, from the preceding developer, that Peeklogic would have been better off alerting us to upfront instead of commenting that ",It works and we can work with it.", As an relation, our codebase was very much a dump truck when we needed a commuter vehicle. Peeklogic could have done better in the commencement of mentioning these observations.

We reengaged them to work on additional updates on our Salesforce instrumentation.
Provided solution
What particular tasks were Peeklogic, LLC responsible for?
A big piece of these updates included migrating data from separate fields to others (as we displaced extrinsic customizations) athwart millions of records. These updates were multi-stage deployments and updates (add new fields, copy data, change references, deploy updates, re-sync data, displace old fields).
Results achieved
Describe the contact this engagement has had on your business.
These updates are not easy to do, let alone do on a “live” installation without downtime. Peeklogic’s engineers were able to make these changes without any nimble users even noticing.
