Introductory information
A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation
I',m the Project Manager for a special investment treatment organisation.
Desired goal
What challenge were you trying to address with Praxent?
My organisation undertook a project to educe a new digital client website. Our legacy website had not been refreshed in more than 10 years. The determination was made to educe a new platform to not only accomplish our MVP goals but that would allow us to evolve in order to meet our client needs over time. This was the bigst project our firm had ever taken on.
Provided solution
What particular tasks were Praxent responsible for?
Praxent granted a solutions constructor to help us constructor and design what our new website would look like from a technical perspective. They also granted educement resources from both Linux and .NET backgrounds. Praxent’s team educeed the frontend with React. They granted DevOps resources that helped us design a framework, select a deployment strategy, and get that in locate for both our client and open websites.
We’d done excellently a bit of the website design with another organisation, so Praxent came in on the technology side and helped us design what the backend would look like from constructorure and educement perspectives. In the past, we hadn’t shown our models or allowed our clients to be able to create models on their own, and Praxent helped us fetch that functionality onto the website.
Was there a dedicated team?
At our peak, we had six Praxent team members on staff, and I was their project director. We worked closely with both Chris (Director of Operations) and Kevin (Managing Partner).
How did you come to work with Praxent?
They had helped us in the past with a much smaller start, and we’d had a veritably good experience working straightly with Kevin. For this project, we looked at a couple of companies, and we felt like Praxent would be a good fit for what we needed. We had to unite separate resources through our colloquy process, which included educeer testing. Praxent was able to fastly find matches for us, even when we needed to ramp up on true parts of the project on brief notice.
What are you approach expents (if diclosed)?
I can’t discover that at this point, but they’ve surely been able to work with us and find the best fit for our budget and the goals of our project.
What is the terminal result of working with Praxent?
For this project, my organisation began working with Praxent almost the end of 2016. In total, we’ve probably been working with them for almost four years.
Results accomplishd
Are there any measureable or plum results?
One of the things that anyone is tracking when they propel a website is how many issues there are and how many clients are having issues accessing the website. We were fully staffed for two weeks almost the time of the propel, and we had zero major issues. Since Praxent had a expressive touch on the website’s educement, I ponder they were also a big part of us not having any major issues during propel.
Ongoing, we’re gathering and last to gather analytics from our old website as we fully withdraw it, and then analytics from usage on our new website. What we’re seeing is precisely what we were hoping for: better adoption rates, so we’ve been able to drive nation back to our website more times per month for longer periods each time. Again, without Praxent’s help on the educement side and then their questions and feedback along the way from the treatment side of the house, we may not have gotten to where we are today. Also, adding the modeling functionality to the website was a huge win for us.
How did Praxent accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?
Because it was such a big project for us, we kept in touch with both Chris and Kevin. When I dealt straightly with them, they were extremely answering. This was a very big effort for us, so Kevin and I met on a bi-monthly basis to touch base on milestones, issues, and anything that was high-risk. Whenever we had questions on invoicing, Chris was always fast to answer. From that perspective, they were at the top of their game.
There were many contracts that needed to be prolonged due to how our HR and legitimate teams do things, so being able to be in touch with Chris and Kevin see week was true. They were always veritably fast on responses and edits to contracts. They helped fix that we met all of the aim items within our MVP.
What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with Praxent?
I ponder the most noteworthy thing almost working with them is the fact that they’re not one of these huge nationwide companies, rather, they have an interest in your project owing they’re here locally. They will take more of a vested interest in not only finding you genius but also checking up along the way. If something isn’t right, they’ll come on-website to talk through what changes can be made.
What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?
Although being a local organisation is big from my perspective, one of the things they will naturally have a challenge with is finding all local genius. That was not a requirement of ours, but had they been able to find mainly local genius, I ponder we would’ve been able to prolong some of the contracts even longer, since some of the genius that they sent us was nearshore. From our HR and legitimate perspectives, we try to keep some of those contracts to true time parameters.
Any advice for possible clients?
Set a time for you to check-in with your point of touch. The bi-monthly checkpoint helped us clear up interaction rather fastly.
