Wheeler MBC PSM has grown to include a team of 30+ marketing experts who work together to drive marketing success for clients across the country.
When Terrie first launched PSM (then called Professional Services Marketing Group) she wanted to leverage her career as an in-house marketing director for three Minneapolis law firms. She understood that marketing was about so much more than clever ads and pretty branding. Marketing is about relationships and its not something her legal clients had ever learned in law school. Armed with the innate drive of a true entrepreneur Terrie founded PSM.
When Terrie launched PSM in December 1996 she offered a broad range of services to a variety of clients in industries including legal financial banking travel information technology trade associations consulting education government and human resources. During her first 16 years in business Terrie refined her team-based approach to delivering marketing department services.
In 2012 after what Terrie and Kristy like to refer to as their pre-marital (pre-partnership) counselling Terrie brought the vivacious and effervescent Kristy L. Gusick into PSM as a partner. While Terrie had focused her early career in law firm marketing Kristy had focused hers in the financial services industry having built and sold her own financial services firm. With Kristys addition to PSM we decided to lead with our two primary industry niches: legal and financial services.
In 2019 the dynamic and talented Michelle R. Wheeler merged her business Spectrum Design and Marketing into PSM and joined Terrie and Kristy as a junior partner. Michelle brings years of strategic marketing branding website and digital experience to PSM. Michelle has worked with contractors non-profits and many small business owners. With Michelles addition to PSM we are excited to again broaden the scope of clients we serve to include Michelles niche areas as well as the industries PSM previously served.
