Sachs Media was founded in 1996 by veteran Florida communicator Ron Sachs following an award‐winning career as a newspaper magazine and television journalist. Sachs also served as senior communications counsel to two Florida Governors Reubin Askew and Lawton Chiles. Three years later in 1999 partner and president Michelle Ubben joined Sachs Media after stints as communications director for the Florida Senate and four state agencies. Together they have grown the agency into one of the top strategic communications firms in the U.S.
In 2017 Sachs named five additional partners to help lead and guide the future of the agency. The partners and senior leadership group bring extensive state government corporate association and non-profit experience and include award-winning strategists and creative producers.
The rhino is our mascot and our animal symbol. Like the rhino we are hard-charging driven to get results and determined to break through barriers to success. In animal symbolism the rhinos message is ’nothing is as it seems.’ Mystics tell of the rhino horns spiritual power to rip through the ambiguous veil and find clarity and abundance on the other side.
