In 1994 Jodi Shelton combined her business and communications expertise to launch Shelton Group a strategic investor relations firm focused on the technology industry. Shelton began her career at Cyrix Corporation where she became part of a three-person executive team that led the companys IPO. Her positioning of Cyrix to the industry and the media as a formidable competitor to Intel Corporation resulted in hundreds of articles including feature stories in Forbes and BusinessWeek.
This same year Jodi co-founded the Fabless Semiconductor Association which has since expanded to become the Global Semiconductor Alliance where she currently serves as president. A pioneer within the technology space Shelton was instrumental in the creation of the Alliance and has continuously addressed global issues in the industry as the voice of its members. Under her leadership GSA has grown its membership to include companies throughout the semiconductor supply chain representing 25 countries across the globe. In her role as president Shelton oversees GSA daily operations ensuring that the Alliance remains focused on achieving its defined mission and goal to foster a more effective ecosystem through collaboration integration and innovation. She is the key liaison between GSA and the business community at high-level financial and industry conferences providing insight on key topics pertaining to the global semiconductor supply chain.
Shelton is a frequent speaker at industry events and has authored numerous articles for industry and business publications. Several media have featured her including Electronic News Dallas Business Journal PR Week PR Tactics Exclusively Dallas WFAA-TVs High Tech Texas Texas Technology Texas Woman among others.
Shelton is also an active leader within the community serving as a board member of various organizations and a contributor of time resources and capital for numerous charitable and civic projects including Girls Inc. Jonathans Place and Habitat for Humanity. She earned her bachelors degree in Political Science from San Diego State and her masters degree in Political Science from the University of Houston.
With more than 20 years of investment management and shareholder relations experience Leanne Sievers contributes critical financial and strategic insight and direction to the Shelton Group executive management team as well as client companies. Having joined Shelton Group in 2001 with extensive knowledge of the financial markets and Wall Street Sievers is responsible for providing strategic direction for client companies as well as overseeing operational aspects and new business development for the company. Focusing on the unique communication needs of both public and privately held companies she leverages her relationships and background in the financial community for the benefit of her clients.
Sievers began her career as a licensed stockbroker with Merrill Lynch and later started her own investment planning business where she consulted with individuals and small businesses regarding their financial and investment needs. Additionally she has worked in corporate and agency communications environments implementing strategic investor communication programs for a multitude of companies across various industries. As a former stockbroker and business owner Sievers combines financial business insight with an entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiastic dedication that offers Shelton Group clients a fresh perspective and measurable results. Her valuable input on financial community relations enables her to anticipate and respond to the needs and expectations of Wall Street and her strategic approach strengthens her teams ability to implement and execute aggressive IR programs that help clients gain the proper visibility within the financial community.
Advising the senior management teams of Shelton Groups public and private client companies on the intricacies of communicating with Wall Street Sievers incorporates deep expertise in the creation management and execution of proactive investor relations programs that encompass all facets of investor communications. Under her direction the IR team applies successful tactics including financial community relations with analysts; institutional and individual investor targeting; key message development; strategic creation of press releases and financial presentations; Web site analysis; road show placement; perception study administration; peer evaluation and coverage analysis; earnings release writing; conference call implementation; and annual report development. Sievers continues to lead the extension and expansion of Shelton Groups network of financial relationships through co-sponsorship of Silicon Hills Summit in Austin Texas and Silicon East Summit in Boston Massachusetts.
Sievers graduated with honors from Texas Christian University where she earned her bachelor of business administration in finance with a specialization in accounting. A former Registered Investment Advisor Sievers is an active member of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) and Public Relations Organisation International (PROI). Sievers participates in community and industry seminars as an IR expert and has been a featured speaker for Fortune 500 corporations investment clubs womens organizations and local universities.
As Vice President at Shelton Group Brett Perry specializes in overseeing client accounts in semiconductors and related industries. Perry contributes a wealth of financial experience and expertise to Shelton clients that includes various aspects of investment analysis portfolio and wealth management financial monitoring and reporting as well as public and private investor relations.
The scope of Perrys responsibilities at Shelton include consulting with client management teams on corporate messaging and investor relations strategies as well as IR program development and the establishment of IR program goals. He actively participates in the ongoing development and daily execution of the proactive investor relations plan put in place for each individual client. Perrys expertise centers on providing analytical tools to client management teams which aids in the strategic planning and positioning of financial and corporate communications. Additionally extensive time goes into the assimilation of sell-side analyst research reports and stock performance data sources in an effort to consolidate this information into reports that draw important comparisons between clients their peers and their competitors. This information ultimately becomes critical in the development of extensive targeting lists aimed at attracting higher-quality low-turnover investors and desirable sell-side analyst coverage to the company.
Prior to joining Shelton Perry worked at Aldus Equity a Dallas-based private equity advisory and fund-of-funds firm that managed capital on behalf of some of the countrys largest state and city public pensions systems. Perry served as head of the firms client monitoring and reporting department. In this role he oversaw and maintained primary responsibility for investment monitoring and pacing analysis transaction software development as well as client allocation and performance reporting across the firms client base of approximately $6 billion in AUM. Prior to joining Aldus Perry worked in private asset management where he served as Director of Operations and Portfolio Manager at Maxim Capital Management a start-up private investment partnership focused on building concentrated portfolios of publicly-traded U.S.-based growth companies.
Current and former clients have included publicly-traded companies private startup companies high net worth individuals real estate partnerships and several of the largest city and state public pension funds in the country. Serving the financial and investment needs of such a diverse group of clients both in terms of size and scope has given Perry an in-depth understanding of investors proclivities and expectations and provides him with a unique perspective for developing company positioning and messaging that is attractive to investors.
Perry received both his BBA in Finance as well as an MBA from Texas Tech University where he graduated magna cum laude.
With a successful background in B2B and B2C communication programs for start-ups to Fortune 500 technology companies in semiconductors intellectual property software telecommunications optical communications Cloud computing IoT and wireline/wireless Katie Olivier is trusted strategic counselor to her clients. Combining more than 20 years of experience with closely monitoring market trends Katie works with clients to determine the most effective business opportunity and direction maximizing efficiency and performance to surpass a clients goals and ensure successful market penetration.
Olivier returns to Shelton Group where she amassed her formidable knowledge of technologies during her 14-year tenure. As Vice President Public Relations she is responsible for the evaluation planning and implementation of PR and marketing campaigns crisis communications planning and executive visibility programs.
Olivier was part of the team that launched TIs DLP projectors during her engagement with Edelman PR/GTT Communications. She began her career in corporate marketing at EDS. In addition to her experience in technology Olivier has also run campaigns for real estate financial services direct sales beauty non-profits restaurants retail and high-end luxury goods clients.
Olivier earned her bachelors degree in communications from Southern Methodist University.
As a Managing Director of Investor Relations at Shelton Group in the firms San Jose office Joel Achramowicz provides strategic counsel and program oversight to technology client accounts including hardware software and cloud computing companies. He serves as a key liaison between each client company and the financial community building long-term relationships with both high quality institutional investors and carefully selected sell-side analysts. Achramowicz has an extensive background in investor relations capital markets and the high-technology industry spanning more than 20 years. The combination of his diverse technology industry experience and extensive relationships throughout Silicon Valley enables Achramowicz to achieve measurable results while serving as a value-added member of his clients strategic IR teams.
In particular Achramowicz works directly with executive teams to develop key messages in line with each companys operating strategy; he then communicates these messages to the marketplace and to influential buy- and sell-side firms carefully selected as primary targets of each clients IR program. To ensure messages resonate with investors Achramowicz proactively cultivates feedback from his interactions with the investment community to craft and adjust these investor-focused communications as each client evolves. With added insight from detailed financial analysis of peer performance and industry trends he keeps management apprised of changing market conditions and timely insights in order to provide clients with pertinent information when talking with investors and analysts.
In addition to maintaining regular contact with investors and analysts Achramowicz is an accomplished communicator with expertise in messaging for investor presentations quarterly earnings releases conference call scripts and investor positioning. He also has extensive experience in financial analysis sell-side research investment banking road show planning financial conference management and analytical management reports. He advises his clients in the use of such tools to communicate consistently with shareholders building both exposure and credibility.
Prior to joining Shelton Achramowicz served as director of PMC-Sierras Investor Relations Department where he tripled sell-side coverage and built a strong and balanced institutional shareholder base in advance of that companys merger with Microsemi in January of 2016. Before that assignment Achramowicz spent 18 years on Wall Street as a sell-side technology analyst and banker covering: semiconductors; telecom equipment; communications systems amp; the Internet; mobile amp; wireline modulation software technologies; networking routing amp; switching systems; computing systems operating systems amp; peripherals; as well as various independent software systems companies. Hes worked with a number of successful investment banks during his Wall Street career opening new offices for some of those firms in the Bay Area and establishing powerful technology franchises during his tenure in each case.
Achramowicz has also served as a technology strategy amp; management consultant for closely-held and public technology companies during which he has advised management on investor positioning capitalization branding and ongoing communications regarding operating issues performance and strategy. He monitors peer company performance metrics competitive market developments relevant to client strategies and regulatory reporting requirements and ongoing issues that affect industry dynamics and economic conditions in various sectors. Achramowicz holds an extensive network of relationships throughout the technology sector across companies investors analysts and public relations professionals. And hes personally committed to increasing the proper mix of institutional ownership and analyst coverage for each Shelton client leading ultimately to superior market valuation.
Achramowicz began his career in Southern California as a digital electronics engineer upon his graduation from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering. He subsequently gravitated to the business side of the high-tech industry undertaking senior strategic marketing positions with a number of technology enterprises including HP GE and others prior to entering Wall Street.
Achramowicz also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Claremont McKenna College and a Master of Science degree in computer architecture from the University of Southern California.
With more than 20 years of experience as a finance and investment professional serving in multiple roles across investor relations sell-side equity research asset management and corporate financial analysis Schreiner provides strategic counsel and program oversight to Shelton Group clients in the areas of technology semiconductors and special situation accounts.
Prior to joining Shelton Group Schreiner founded Testament Capital LLC (previously Grinder Capital LLC) a Texas state registered investment advisory firm focused on small and mid-cap investments. Prior to starting his own fund he served as the Director of Investor Relations at Mellanox Technologies (NASDAQ: MLNX) and previously at EZChip Semiconductor which was acquired by Mellanox Technologies.
Preceding EZChip Schreiner worked as a Senior Research Analyst at Feltl and Company where his coverage focused on small and mid-cap technology companies. He held similar senior sell-side positions at CapStone Investments and American Technology Research. Prior to his sell-side analyst career Schreiner co-founded MS Capital Management and served as the companys Portfolio Manager and Analyst. He also held the role of Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley and Financial Operations Analyst at Peter Piper Inc.
Schreiner has been recognized for his excellence in equity research. The Wall Street Journal recognized him as ’Best on the Street’ in 2010 2011 and 2013 for his coverage within semiconductors. Starmine and the Financial Times recognized him as a ’Top Stock Picker’ in 2011 (#3 out of all U.S.-based analysts). Schreiner graduated from Ottawa University with a degree in Business Administration.
