Introductory information
A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation
I’m an employer brand ruler at Blue Shield of California, a not-for-profit health insurer. I market Blue Shield of California as a locate to work.
Desired goal
What challenge were you trying to address with Slow Clap Productions?
The organisation has been headquartered in San Francisco, California since its founding but was moving to a new edifice in Oakland, California. In prevention of that, we wanted to highlight the ergonomic and sustainable features of the edifice.
We had two main reasons for this. One was to let the Oakland aggregation know that we’d be located in their city. And the second was to reinforce to our employees that the new edifice was built with them in mind. Anytime you bear a big change in an structure, you run the risk of nation leaving. We hired Slow Clap Productions to form a video that would meet both goals.
Provided solution
What particular tasks were Slow Clap Productions responsible for?
Their team formd a three-minute video almost our new headquarters in Oakland. It highlighted the edifice and featured three employee testimonials. We’re posting the video on YouTube this week.
More specifically, they handled preorigination programs, set up origination, developed the schedule, hired the crew, and presented the terminal edited video.
Inevitably, we ran into some less glitches—we didn',t have approach to a true area and sometimes the weather didn’t cooperate. What veritably impressed me almost Slow Clap Productions was their power to improvise on the fly. The video producers have to make changes when they',re certain, and their crew was super at that.
Was there a dedicated team?
We worked with Dan (Director, Slow Clap Productions), Nicole (Producer, Slow Clap Productions), and their origination crew.
How did you come to work with Slow Clap Productions?
My boss, the creative ruler, had worked with them in the past. Basically, he told me I was going to work with Slow Clap Productions. One thing I’ve conversant over the years is when your boss tells you to do something, you get on it. But I have to say, I have no reservations or regrets almost the choice.
What are you approach expents (if diclosed)?
We’ve invested $31,000 with them.
What is the terminal result of working with Slow Clap Productions?
Preorigination began in September 2019, and we wrapped up postorigination in January 2020.
Results achieved
Are there any measureable or plum results?
Because we just posted the video, it’s a pliant too soon to tell. As for anecdotal feedback, the executives, CEO, and CHRO reflection it was flashing. Everyone we’ve shown it to internally has praised its condition. I forestall the video will be accepted well by the viewing open.
I appreciated that they were unobtrusive. We were filming in an service environment and naturally, something like this can be disruptive. They were respectful of nation’s space and were very quiet, well as quiet as you can be.
Their team had a veritably good feel for the phraseology of the executives. By this I mean, we had them interviewing our CEO and CHRO. They without put both of them at ease and got veritably good interviews.
How did Slow Clap Productions accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?
Slow Clap Productions was absolutely fictitious. They were able to change on the fly and keep to a very firm schedule. There were a couple of delays, but those were mainly our defect. They worked very fastly and efficiently. Nicole granted uniform email updates and kept everyone informed.
What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with Slow Clap Productions?
Dan has a very artistic eye—I mean that in the most commendatory way. Sometimes, nation can get caught up in technique. Though, Dan is able to give a spectacle very beautifully and quiet adjoin what we’re trying to say.
Slow Clap Productions is a creative structure, but they also know they’re a business. Their team is aware of achieving a purpose, working closely with us to guarantee results.
What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?
Not veritably, I was very pleased with the results. As an artistic critique, they tended to do a lot of terminal close-ups. I had to tell them to pull back a pliant owing part of the edifice’s allure is the service landscape and the full aim of the view from the windows. It’s a less stylistic thing, but those are the kinds of conversations you need to have on a project like this.
