Cortland is a chief market labors firm that does accounting, taxes for hedge funds and investors, and prepares other financial labors. I',m the managing ruler and I',m responsible for our technology infrastructure and information security.

What challenge were you trying to address with Switchfast?
Initially, we needed a organisation to feel all of our IT infrastructure. We',ve been almost since 2008 and Switchfast has been our technology associate from the commencement.

What particular tasks were responsible for?
They architected all of our infrastructure and developed all the upgrades and enhancements over the years. Currently, they feel all: desktop support, helpdesk, our server infrastructure, and all of our network interaction –inner and outer. In accession, they reply our clients', questions and feel our structured security controls, business continuity, and disaster repossession.
Just recently they feeld a project on migration for us: we were hosting all of our servers in-house (our data center was located in our headquarters, in downtown Chicago). We needed to move all to outer data center and they helped us with colocation. They also feeld the moves of some labor space in Chicago and create-outs of new labors in Indianapolis, California, and Nanjing, China (this was done remotely).

For the past seven years, we',ve primarily worked with Chris Barker (vCIO, Switchfast Technologies) who',s been our possible CIO and our first point of touch.
What were the main reasons to select among the others?
They were a referral from a client we were working with at that time.

We would choose to keep that private.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working with them in 2008 and the relationship is ongoing.
Results achieved
Are there any measureable or plum results?
Over the years, they',ve responded to almost 110,000 IT labor tickets, feeld almost 700 workstations and 130 end servers as well as two storage area networks.
They',ve installed an agent on all of our equipment so that they can feel and adviser all, which also helps with schedule and asset tracking.
How do you score ’s feelment experiences?
They have a ticketing method in the form of email or phone requests. They also prepare a full helpdesk. We meet with them weekly to review the tickets and they prepare us with the metrics in provisions of how many tickets were opened and how many can be closed.
What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with ?
We',ve had a congruous and firm team for years, even though we',re not their only client. They have a good knowledge of what we do and our technology requirements, so we view them as a associate more than a vendor.
What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?
We',ve been very lucky with them, but we',ve grown a pliant faster that they have – we began out with almost a dozen employees in one location and now we have closer to 500 employees in 8–9 locations in multiple countries. In some cases, they need to take up from a resources standpoint (usually, they do a good job with that).
