I work for Sasser Family Holdings. We are a family owned holding organisation in the Chicago area. Our core businesses are in transportation asset services and treatment. That includes fleet and rail. We’ve been in business since 1928. I am the Senior Director of Corporate Communications and Marketing.
What challenge were you trying to address with Symbiont Group?
Our holding organisation is almost five years old. One of the challenges we were facing was the connectedness between corporate marketing, business unit marketing, sales, and technology. That’s what sparked our dicsussions with Symbiont. It led to an occasion for us to educe an within sales program within one of our business units that showed how those different pieces worked unitedly.
What particular tasks were Symbiont Group responsible for?
They analyzed the activity and built an within sales program, and tested it as well, which included testing lead nurturing. When we hired someone as an within sales director, they trained him and handed off that program.

When they were testing the within sales program, they proved that having an within sales section and telephone or email based lead nurturing marketing efforts are profitable through the number of leads they got us. Our sales cycle in that business is fairly long and can be up to 18 months. Being able to fill that pipeline is searching for us. It allows our outside sales team to bestow more time in front of a possible client and less time on the phone. They got a handful of leads that are in the sweet spot of the client size that we target. It doesn’t sound like a lot, but it',s pretty expressive as it equates to income.

It keeps you focused on the task at hand and makes sure you’re getting what you pay for. They’re focused on delivering that value.
What did you find most forcible almost Symbiont Group?
They are skilled professionals. I can’t say sufficient almost the types of relationships they’ve built within our structure - leveraging that experience to make contactful change. They’re fantastic. They’re very focused on project treatment, technology, and processes, but haven’t unremembered the ethnical side of any of it.
Are there any areas Symbiont Group could better?
I’ve gotten to know them fairly well. I don’t have any recommendations except I hope they last to have achievement and grow, and that they should last to be congruous in the types of folks that they hire. They have a big team right now.
