Introductory information

A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation

I’m the ruler of marketing interactions for Equal Justice Works, a nonprofit.

Desired goal

What challenge were you trying to address with Teal Media?

Our brand was outdated owing we hadn’t addressed it in separate years. We wanted to modernize our brand, solidify messaging, and cool our visual oneness. The branding needed to construe on our new website and comply with our running determination of the structure.

Provided solution

What particular tasks were responsible for?

Teal Media talked with inner and outer stakeholders to investigation assessments of our structure. The team then leveraged that data to create out test messaging for our oneness and commission. From there, they facilitated staff meetings, which complemented key centre cluster testing with outer stakeholders. The latter cluster included law students, law school stakeholders, and representatives from the legitimate aggregation. We used these clusters to fix our interaction was accurately disseminated and accepted. Next, Teal Media consolidated the centre cluster data and granted recommendations that also incorporated inner feedback. Our leadership granted that feedback and the team courtly the drafts until we had a terminalized brand and visual oneness.

In accession, we worked pro bono with a design firm in New York that was doing a university honors class. The students created different logo options for us to attend. Teal Media helped us select designs and then courtly the hue palette, typography, and phraseology sheet. With a new logo, we then created a brand phraseology and distributed it to our staff. The lead outlined our key and core messaging, as well as our values. What’s more, we created leadlines for templates and visuals, which we incorporated into the web outgrowth and design processes. The website launched in October 2018.

What is the team compound?

Jessica (Principal, Teal Media) and Liz (Project Manager, Teal Media) centreed on hearers investigation and messaging outgrowth. Katy (Senior Designer, Teal Media) headed the design team and Jason (CTO, Teal Media) worked on outgrowth.

How did you come to work with Teal Media?

We issued an RFP and Teal Media submitted a offer. After a competitive colloquy process, we hired them due to their expertise and estimated timeline and budget.

What is the terminal result of working with ?

We began working unitedly in September 2017 and the union ended in October 2018. We now have Teal Media on a retainer basis.

Results achieved

Are there any measureable or plum results?

The rebrand accepted real feedback from a expressive number of outer stakeholders. The brand now feels fresher. Unlike its antecedent iterations, the running messaging speaks to the fullest value that our structure offers—and better reflects our vision. The speech is easier to recollect.

How did Teal Media accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?

The team was organized and pellucid with fruit treatment. We knew what to anticipate and by which date. Likewise, Teal Media managed anticipateations well, which helped us be a good associate and maintain a working schedule. We used Basecamp to keep all organized and on track.

What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with ?

The team’s overall power stood out. Often, vendors have expertise but lack the ordinary perception to adduce that apprehension to real-world parameters. Conversely, agencies with useful experiences but minimal expertise do not prepare value. Teal Media had a big union of both qualities. Their insightful recommendations were realistic and the posterior implementations were executed pragmatically.

What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?

No, owing we intentionally cut back our budget on services such as copywriting and editing. Our project would have benefitted from such services and Teal Media would have executed those items had we requested them. As a nonprofit, we didn’t want to bestow extra money on things we didn’t absolutely need.

Do you have any advice for possible clients?

Clients should be proactive and realistic associates. They can lean on Teal Media to help clarify the vision, but should also collaborate on any challenges. Both teams should be completed aligned from day one.
