I’m the VP of engineering for Conversant, a digital marketing organisation that provides personalized digital advertising. We work for companies athwart multiple industries.

What challenge were you trying to address with TEAM International?
We wanted to layer our engineering team but establish we couldn’t staff up as rapidly as we wanted to.

What particular tasks were TEAM International responsible for?
We’re aggressively edifice out a new method and framework to restore separate legacy methods we acquired in the past. This involves rewriting a lot of the tools we have and bridging separate different functional areas. TEAM International’s developers are focused on both front- and backend outgrowth for which they use Angular, Node.js, and Java. They’ve also contributed a couple of BI engineers to write SQL scripts for our data team. TEAM’s work is going towards managing creative full, defining and running campaigns, working with our publishing partners, and supporting microservices.
Was there a dedicated team?
We work with Andres (Director of Operations, TEAM International), whom we have customary calls with, and George (VP of Sales, TEAM International), in Ukraine, who we have a call with see other week. He',s sometimes joined by Chris (President, TEAM International).
We currently have 14 engineers working with us from Colombia who',re augmenting a number of teams. Typically, two engineers will join a team and share in all aspects of outgrowth.
How did you come to work with TEAM International?
We were looking at choice ways to staff up (outside contractors) but wanted to keep good value for the cost. Therefore, we leaned toward an offshore increase standard. Someone reached out to my boss, the head of engineering, and he handed the evaluation off to me behind some initial talks. I determined they’d be a good fit for what we were trying to execute.
How much have you invested in them?
We bestow just below $2 million annually.
What is the terminal result of working with TEAM International?
We’ve been working unitedly since July 2017.

Are there any measureable or plum results?
TEAM International’s help has improved our efficiency and productivity. Overall, our teams have been satisfied. There’ve been a couple of uneven spots, but they responded to the issues well and turned them almost. They stemmed from a steep learning curve touching how to incorporate distant members into teams that weren’t used to that work phraseology.
How did TEAM International accomplish from a project handlement standpoint?
They’ve accomplished well. We don',t ask much of them from a project handlement standpoint owing we',ve retained control over the projects their members are working on. Their interaction and responsiveness have been powerful and powerful, and they’re constantly in-touch at the managerial level. They’re conscious of our hiring needs and possible issues and are good almost following up on seething.
We use Jira and Wiki software, as well as Bitbucket for code reviews and handlement. Microsoft Teams are used for cluster chats and meetings, though we’ll sometimes use Zoom, we’ve had more achievement with that than with Skype for business.
What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with TEAM International?

TEAM International has separate different outgrowth centers, most of which are in Eastern Europe. Our teams in the US are in Chicago and on the West Coast, so we needed better time zone alignment. Therefore, we’ve been working with their Columbian outgrowth center.
Do you have any advice for possible clients?
Be actively occupied in the hiring process owing it’ll like your total team dynamic. Communicate with and handle distant team members like anyone else, attractive them in the complete process, from creating a design to doing code review.
