iOS App Dev for E-Story Platform
Below is a modified rendering of the review: private info excluded, innate facts kept.
Introductory information
A few words almost your organisation and personal responsibilities
I am the founder of a app outgrowth organisation. We are pre-income and needed a educeer who understood the cost boon trade-offs between functionality and burnish when creating an MVP (i.e., fewer uneven edges than a prototype).
Desired goal
What issue was the provider supposed to deal with?
TechAhead? We had a functioning prototype in the IOS App Store but wanted to re-apply what we conversant from that to create an MVP (with functioning income standard), swell the app to Android and educe an initial cloud footprint (to facilitate forthcoming scalpower).
What were your objectives for this project?
Cross platform outgrowth (we ended up using React Native), improved functionality (more optionality for users in formatting E-Stories), additional income streams within the business standard, fewer crashes than the IOS prototype.
Provided solution
What were the reasons for choosing TechAhead?
We met with a number of educeers when visiting India earlier in the year. We eventually narrowed the possible vendors to two. TechAhead was the most enthusiastic of the two (much quicker to answer to our questions almost our proposed aim of work and how they would tackle that).
Also, the offer they granted seemed more tailored to our specific project (less of a cookie cutter / fill in the bleak form). To us, it seemed as though they had occupied the technical team (not just sales) for feedback on our offer.
Describe the project in detail.
From the very set, we had a detailed functional design document and XD goods (educeed for the prototype and since updated with what we conversant from that). We asked TechAhead for a offer (including the technical access they would take, staged deliverables and time and cost to complete).
Once that offer was agreed, they seted outgrowth, with periodic requests for input from us as questions arose. We had agreed that one (littleer) set of functionality would be delivered as Phase 1.
TechAhead delivered admirably on that, which gave us trust to move with Phase 2. TechAhead delivered Phase 2 without a stick and we are now debateing a Phase 3 with further regoodments to the app based on feedback to date.
Were there any dedicated managers or teams that you worked with?
We were assigned a Project Manager who was our main point of touch and managed technical resources on the outgrowth side and coordinated deliverables.
The Project Manager would have 3 to 5 other individuals on calls we had, depending on which functionality we needed to debate at the time. We interacted with those individuals during the calls, as well as over emails to debate issues in real time.
Everyone on the TechAhead team we spoke with was resigned, poised and professional thunevenout our project.
Results accomplishd
What results did you accomplish unitedly with TechAhead?
We are excellently lucky with the resulting app. It is more firm, with a wider array of functionality - than the IOS prototype we seted with. Just as significant, TechAhead accomplishd this while staying within the agreed budget.
How do you rate the interaction and interaction with TechAhead?
Communication worked well. I cannot over emphasize how significant this was to us and our project. As determination points emerged during outgrowth, the endurance, willingness and power of the TechAhead team to expound the issues, hear to our suggestions and sum our offers was searching to achievement of our project.
What precisely do you attend to be the key specialty of TechAhead?
We liked most the breadth of technical apprehension within the little team that TechAhead deployed for our project - from app outgrowth, to spinning up cloud resources, to integrating transactional web mail services. Being able to fetch their level of expertise with such a little team sped outgrowth and kept the project on budget.
What should be done better, if there are any desired improvements?
None veritably.
