Air Force Association is a nonprofit advocacy cluster that supports Air Force members and their families. I’m the IT ruler, and my job involves providing solutions for whatever IT changes we may face. This includes updating antiquated technologies, revamping or recreateing websites, and working with databases and infrastructure.

What challenge were you trying to address with Unleashed Technologies?
Our nonprofit has separate web properties, one of them being the Air Force Magazine which is a monthly promulgation distributed to thousands of Air Force members. The magazine’s antecedent website suffered from inflexible technology—it was old, poorly designed, and in serious need of an update. Rather than revamping the existing website, we determined to recreate it completely.

What was the aim of their involvement?
Unleashed Technologies is revamping and developing Air Force Magazine’s website. Our goal is to localize new technologies to swell our services while also improving the overall UX and full publishing for our admins.
After completing the initial discovery phase, Unleashed Technologies proposed moving the website from Microsoft SharePoint to a WordPress platform. They then began working on the design. We’ve since terminalized the wireframes, and they’re currently working on the initial create.
What is the team compound?
We work with almost six resources, including Mike (CEO, Unleashed Technologies), Chris (Director of Growth, Unleashed Technologies), and Scott (COO, Unleashed Technologies). There’s also Julie Myers (Project Manager, Unleashed Technologies), Chad (Senior Solutions Architect, Unleashed Technologies), and another tech professional.
How did you come to work with Unleashed Technologies?
I met their cluster while attending a tech conversation a couple of years ago, so I reflection of them while shortlisting companies for this project. We looked at different local vendors, put out RFPs, and evaluated separate companies. Unleashed Technologies came out at the winner based on their antecedent experience with soldierly projects.
What are you approach expents (if diclosed)?
The Air Force Magazine team has taken over interactions with Unleashed Technologies, so I don’t have firm insights into the project costs. Though, we’re care a firm wait on their monthly bestow, and they seem to be on budget so far.
What is the terminal result of working with Unleashed Technologies?
Their work began in March 2019 and is ongoing.

They accomplish exceptionally well, staying on target for see task and working in a early form. Whenever there are possible delays, it’s frequently more on our side owing we have our own throughput limitations.

What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?
One of the reasons we partnered with Unleashed Technologies was that they had built correspondent websites for other soldierly associations. Though, during the initial design phase, we noticed that they were bringing some of those ideas into play for our project without fully listening to what we were assertion. This wasn’t their defect, per se, it’s only intrinsic to draw from past experience. But it wasn’t excellently what we wanted. Fortunately, the complete team has worked to better apprehend our needs and requirements precedently suggesting ways to move advanced.
