Introductory information

A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation

I’m the senior director for innovations and analytics for a big American brewing organisation.

Desired goal

What challenge were you trying to address with WillowTree?

We occupied WillowTree to create a answering web application to restore an existing method. The app allows our organisation, competing brewers, completesalers, and retailers to program shelf sets in a collaborative digital space. The antecedent tool was built on the incorrect platform and suffered from poor accomplishment.

Provided solution

What particular tasks were responsible for?

The web application allows retailers to select a brewer. The brewer creates a program for a shelf set and then uploads it to the platform, where other brewers, completesalers, and retailers can review it and prepare comments. The retailer can then use that diagram for their scheduled reset.

WillowTree prepared full design and outgrowth labor. They were given a bleak slate to design the frontend. We then agreed on the design and made a unified list of requirements in our kick-off meeting, we ensured that their proposed solutions matched our architecture boards and procedures. Once they accepted the go-ahead, their team then built the tool from top to breast—from the frontend to the server to the database construction.

Was there a dedicated team?

We adjusted the size of the team to comprise 10–12 nation. We work with a project director, frontend professionals, backend professional, and UX nation.

How did you come to work with WillowTree?

We put unitedly a request for offer complete with our vision and budget requirements. Our architecture team then reached out to six vendors, WillowTree was one of them. Their team and portfolio demonstrated a big deal of expertise, so we chose them to complete this project.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent just below $1 million.

What is the terminal result of working with ?

We began worked unitedly in June 2018, and the project is ongoing.

Results achieved

Are there any measureable or plum results?

WillowTree improved the app’s overall accomplishment. The antecedent app architecture limited us to making 300 accounts per project, the new tool allows us to add unlimited accounts. We can more easily collaborate with big-name clients who need thousands of accounts. Also, new fruit uploads take ten minutes instead of 3–5 hours. Lastly, at our most late sales and marketing assemblage, the updates had an overwhelmingly real admission. Ten completesalers signed up for our tool on the spot.

How did WillowTree accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?

The project director is excellent. They are wonderfully organized and pellucid almost progress and practicable delays. We have the right number of touchpoints per week, and they always pursue up and listen in-person meetings when certain.

WillowTree uses an inner project treatment tool integrated with email. We’ve onboarded them into Jira for documentation and scheduling. They’ve adapted on the fly to our inner procedures and project treatment technologies, such as sign-on tools and API directors like MuleSoft.

What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with ?

WillowTree goes over and over the statement of work. No requests fall through the cracks, and they centre on the big picture. As a result, they’ve befit a trusted associate for forthcoming outgrowth. We’ve now assigned them our complete jewel application—an schedule and ordering tool that needs bug fixes and a accomplishment upgrade. We look advanced to starting that project with them soon.

What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?

No, I couldn',t have asked for a better experience.

Any advice for practicable clients?

Make sure you know your forthcoming requirements. Provide them with as much information as practicable, including goals, wireframes. A clear timeline will help lead how they allocate resources.
