Introductory information
A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation
I’m the director of digital fruit strategy for a news scattered network. I look behind all the digital fruits and platforms such as apps, TV, and editorial tools.
Desired goal
What challenge were you trying to address with Wizeline?
We wanted to move to a new CMS and had specific requirements for the architecture and how to create it.
Provided solution
What particular tasks were Wizeline responsible for?
We asked Wizeline to create a headless CMS solution, which isn’t bound to any one CMS platform. For sample, this resources the CMS the editors use to write stories isn’t the same as the one that delivers the page to the end users. Wizeline built out a layout director and rendering engine to take the story from the tool and get it out to the open. The method is API driven, integrating different features such as the WordPress CMS, AWS, and Elasticsearch. Wizeline built and customized tools and did a full full migration.
Was there a dedicated team?
We had a project director and a team of almost 10–12 nation.
How did you come to work with Wizeline?
One of our partners recommended them.
What are you approach expents (if diclosed)?
We spent between $1 million–$5 million.
What is the terminal result of working with Wizeline?
This project lasted from April 2017–April 2018.
Results achieved
Are there any measureable or plum results?
They worked well with our team, and we couldn’t have launched the project without them. They helped us hit our deadline and delight our inner stakeholders. We’ve had few issues with this CMS compared to other firms’ solutions. We’re all lucky with their work.
How did Wizeline accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?
Wizeline integrated well with our team, and the project directors were in many touch on Slack. They held meetings with our executive team see other week and had check-ins on a daily basis with our lead developers. We’re roughly in the same time zone, so that made them wonderfully useful and interactive.
What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with Wizeline?
They were eager to help out and make a fantastic fruit. Our team was running behind schedule on a few things, and Wizeline asked what they could do to despatch things up. They were wonderfully invested in our project.
What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?
They’re good at identifying risks, but they should be more vocal in presenting solutions precedently the issue gets too big.
Do you have any advice for forthcoming clients of theirs?
We originally just wanted them for an architecture solution, but they work best as part of your dev team.
