Xcentric Mold amp; Engineering was founded by the Weaver brothers: Brendan and Damon. Both brothers went through an advanced apprentice program where they learned the scientific approach to plastic injection molding. This program taught them the engineering and processing skills needed to succeed in the industry. Due to their interest in advanced process management technology and the lack of its application to injection molding at the time the Weaver brothers outgrew the apprentice and journeyman program and began developing technologies of their own.
As a result in 1997 the Weaver brothers founded their first injection molding facility based outside of Detroit Michigan. This is where they applied and advanced their technology skills. While Brendan used his business and customer relations skills to focus on marketing and sales Damon used his business and technological background to develop processes and software to become a leading edge injection molding company focused on delivering to extremely short production deadlines for prototype and low volume production applications.
Today Xcentric Mold amp; Engineering which is majority owned by Riverside Capital has expanded into two customized plastic injection molding facilities designed around the Xcentric process philosophy. The technology developed by Xcentric executed by its team of manufacturing experts and led by a team of seasoned industry veterans provides Xcentrics customers with consistent results under ever shorter timelines.
