Ten-X asked Zoolatech to develop a complex test automation solution and a built-in QA Automation process into Ten-X’s CI/CD pipeline.
Zoolatech created a custom Test Automation Framework based on javax.ws.rs.client. and TestNG as a test runner.
With tough time constraints for the transition period, our team first ensured it ‘stopped the bleeding’ and covered the most critical and frequently used
- We added a services ‘health check’ validation where it was critical.
- We ensured delivered value from test automation at a very early stage of framework creation. Automation testing was embedded into the CI pipeline since a very limited set of ‘smoke tests’ was written. This gave the client some relief and visibility at the very beginning of the implementation process. With further extending of automation test suite, we gradually provided reasonable coverage for all microservices and ensured proper visibility of ongoing status of testing for all stakeholders.
