Mobile Development For Parenting App
Please find under a summary covering project details and feedback. The innate facts are kept as they are, private information is amended.
Introductory information
Please draw your structure.
The organisation name is Village Labs. The fruit that we built is named Village for Parents. It',s basically a knowledge-sharing app for new moms and dads.
What is your position?
I',m the founder and chairman.
Desired goal
What business challenge were you trying to address with ClearSummit?
When we approached ClearSummit, we already had an MVP [minimum viable fruit] published in the App Store, but that was an anemic rendering, like many MVPs are. It didn',t have very many features and was bare bones. We needed somebody who could feel both front-end and back-end outgrowth and was ready to work with us to fetch our vision to life. In interviewing a bunch of nation, Shane gave us the most trust that ClearSummit was the best fit for the project.
Provided solution
Please draw the aim of their involvement in detail.
The designs were all done in-house, although Shane [Zilinskas, CEO of ClearSummit] surely granted feedback in provisions of technical feasibility for the designs. Though, Shane was principally in direct of all the front-end and back-end codes. One thing that veritably impressed me was, the back-end of our MVP had been built with Ruby on Rails, and ClearSummit had done most of their projects in Python. Though, they were able to acquire that speech fully, and use it to create our app without any issues.
How did you come to work with ClearSummit?
I put an ad out on weworkremotely.com and, of the 80 or so responses I got, ClearSummit was just head and shoulders over everybody else based on their portfolio of work. The clear knowledge that he had of what we had already built, making some soon suggestions that were right on point. From a technical standpoint, it was very plain he',s competent there. Also, he was just extremely grateful, and an easy guy to work with. When he tells you he',s going to get something done, he gets it done.
Could you prepare a perception of the size of this start in financial provisions?
It was in the $50,000 to $100,000 range.
What is the terminal result of working with ?
We worked with ClearSummit from May 2014 to April 2016. In that time, we typically worked in three-week sprint cycles.
Results achieved
Could you share any statistics or metrics from this engagement?
I recently shut the app down owing we weren',t able to layer it as fast as we needed to. Though, that is not at all kindred to Shane. I had total trust in the technology built by ClearSummit. We verity were a Webby assign honoree this past year.
What distinguishes ClearSummit from other preparers?
I ponder Shane is what sets them aloof. He',s an incredibly changeable individual. That',s the one thing that I would say, he',s capable of handling many different tasks at a very high level. He',s also dedicated when it comes to meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations. He takes that seriously and takes a lot of loftiness in his work. It veritably shows.
Is there anything ClearSummit could have improved or done differently?
I can',t ponder of anything. Essentially, all of the issues we faced in this organisation were outside of Shane',s control.
