Working with Stafffinders – Work Seeker Responsibilities

The safety and wellbeing of not only our work-seekers but also our staff and clients is of equal importance to us. That is why we ask that all of our work-seekers complete our COVID Candidate Questionnaire prior to a temporary assignment and comply with the following procedures.

1. Please inform us prior to undertaking a temporary assignment or attending a face-to-face interview with a client* if in the last 14 days: -

2. If you have already accepted an assignment or attended a face-to-face client interview please inform us immediately if you have subsequently been advised not to attend work or self-isolate. This again could be due to you personally displaying symptoms of Coronavirus or coming into contact with others displaying symptoms/testing positive.

3. Should you begin to experience symptoms of Coronavirus whilst on-site with a client please notify your on-site supervisor immediately. They will advise you what course of action to follow based on their specific company procedures. Please advise Stafffinders at your earliest opportunity after you have notified your supervisor.

(* The majority of client interviews will be undertaken online at this time. Only those which are not feasible to do online would be face-to-face and we will ensure the client has correct precautions and safety measures in place prior to the interview taking place).

To ensure our work-seekers continued safety and well-being we are asking all clients to let us know of the specific measures and procedures they have in place in relation to Coronavirus. This allows us to let our work-seekers know giving them valuable peace of mind that their health and safety is a priority to the client.  If at any point you feel unsafe on an assignment please inform both your client supervisor/line manager and Stafffinders straight away.

All temporary workers who are working on a clients site have a duty to assess any risks to their own health and safety and to comply with any of the clients health and safety instructions that they are made aware of. This not only applies to Coronavirus but all health and safety matters. You should take all reasonable steps to safeguard your own safety and that of any person who may be affected by your actions. You must also report any accident to the client in the first instance and then also to Stafffinders.
