At the early age of 30 EDS and General Motors began shutting down plants in California and Marvin got a job as a logistics manager in Milipitas California. After 2 years of excellence he was quickly promoted to regional manager for a position on the east coast and moved his family to Freehold New Jersey. It was this new position and all its promise that changed Marvins path forever. This new position only lasted 6 months for him. After hiring and training 50 employees the company downsized and Marvin was laid off. 3000 miles away from his family Marvin decided he would never work for someone else ever again.
It was the greatest thing that ever happened to him as in 1999 he founded givemeservice.com and took all of his past experiences and applied them to small business owners and began providing solutions that would drive down their costs and increase their revenue. Irina LaMoriello born and raised in Uzbekistan till the age of 15 and moved to the USA in 1997. She went through lots of changes to say the least but she has led an amazing life and overcome many challenges! She loved math since a very early age and went to school majoring in Accounting and Economics but of course like most people she didnt end up working in that field at all and joined the GMS team in 2004 as a Sales Manager.
As the years went on both the company and Irina dove deep into understanding Google and all the aspects of Search Engine Optimization so that GMS could better serve their clients and keep the rates of doing so at a reasonable level. Irina spent many months taking courses online and learning all there is to know about Local SEO to make sure that we can provide the best services and solutions to customers. The changes are constant and the learning never ends but Irina finally found something she is truly passionate about. She trained and became an SEO Specialist in 2011 and became a GMS Partner in 2013. We are very proud of her growth and her abilities.
She believes in small businesses and loves to help them grow and succeed which makes her a perfect fit for GMS. Irina is married to an amazing man since 2007 and the mother of 2 girls 1 boy and is a huge part of what we do at GMS.
A Jersey Shore local Lisa was born in Point Pleasant and raised in Brick NJ. Lisa was an art student from the time she was young and continued to pursue a career as an artist into college. She attended Rutgers University and graduated in 1998 with a double major in Visual Art and Communication. While at Rutgers Lisa completed two internships with the Walt Disney company. The first was the Walt Disney World College Program as a tour guide for the Feature Animation Studio in the WDW theme park in Orlando FL and then later she assisted the president and vice president of Walt Disney Theatrical Productions and Walt Disney Feature Animation in Manhattan. In 2000 she returned to school to complete a certification program for digital and graphic design at Parsons New School in New York City.
Since 2001 Mrs. Mazzuca has enjoyed success as a freelance graphic and website designer and business owner of On Your Mark Design and Graphics. During that time she honed her skills in layout and composition as well as remained up to date using state of the art applications and web design technology. She is experienced in delivering beautiful and effective print design logos brochures and flyers and continues to develop clean code and thoughtful on-page SEO strategy in website development. Lisas local online exposure garnered the attention of Marvin Ellis who invited her to provide design services to givemeservice in March of 2013. Working with givemeservice.com has given her the opportunity to develop more websites in a relatively short time than in the 10 years before she joined the team. GMS continues to push Lisa to learn more and expand her skill-set and encourages her to be a better designer every single day.
Jazzmin Ellis a junior at Kean University is currently working towards her Bachelors degree. Jazzmins decision to join GMS after working as a medical receptionist for two years was based on her strong desire to help people succeed and craving for a productive outlet for her innovative and detail oriented personality. She enjoys deploying her analystic skills and examining even the smallest details to ensure that projects preform as effective as possible for their intended purposes. She is most excited to find new ways to enhance visibility and lead generation for small business owners. She will track analyze and organize progress information in order to identify issues discover what is working and assist in informing business owners of what can be done to improve their online results.
