Kim Anania President and CEO
Kim founded KMA Consulting LLC in 2007 to provide businesses with practical HR advice and guidance helping them to eliminate areas of risk.
Her distinguished career with New England-based companies has covered all aspects of Human Resources and organizational development. Kim has supported managed and led company-wide initiatives such as human resource information systems conversions federal and state compliance benefit management recruiting retention safety workers compensation employee relations coaching and training.
Kim earned a certificate in Organizational Development through the National Training Labs in Alexandria Virginia and a Bachelor of Arts in History and American Studies from Muhlenberg College in Allentown Pennsylvania. She is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management.
Kim lives in Cumberland is the proud mother of two sons and has an awesome supportive husband. She loves traveling and doing anything outside particularly in the summers by the ocean in Maine and in her home state of Connecticut.
Anita Krieg Operations Director
Anita has more than 25 years of Human Resources experience including recruiting and employment benefits compensation and training. Anita has consulted with Fortune 500 companies non-profit organizations and small businesses on staffing job classification and compensation employee handbook development human resources assessments employment law compliance performance management and training.
She has worked within a number of industries including manufacturing service telecommunications staffing technical and professional services insurance research and education.
Anita holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Management from the University of Northern Iowa and a Master of Arts degree in Industrial Relations and Human Resources from the University of Iowa. She has earned the designation as Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-SCP). She is a member of the National Human Resources Association – Rochester Affiliate.
Anita enjoys staying fit in the great outdoors including hiking biking and cross country skiing as well as baking a good book family adventures and exploring out of the way places.
Holly Lancaster Recruiting Director
Holly has more than 20 years of experience in recruiting sales and client service. She thoroughly enjoys helping organizations achieve their business goals through hiring and retaining top talent and believes that matching people with companies is all about getting to know the key players and what inspires and motivates them.
Throughout her career Holly has worked in sales engineering aerospace manufacturing government and technology among other industries. She earned her B.A. from West Virginia University in English Communications.
A Scarborough resident Holly and her family enjoy all that Maine has to offer—from beaches to mountains and everything in between. She also devotes her energies to EmpowerME a nonprofit she co-founded thats committed to empowering communities through documentary film.
Rhoda McVeigh Regional Director NH/MA
Rhoda has more than 30 years of Human Resources and operations experience. She is an experienced business leader who excels in human behavior and possesses depth in leadership coaching and development pre-employment interviews and assessment employee engagement performance appraisal and improvement training facilitation succession planning internal investigations and exit strategies.
She has held leadership positions in national full-service retail specialty retail and food service companies on both the corporate and the field sides. She has also done consulting in manufacturing insurance telecommunications healthcare and non-profit industries.
Rhoda attended George Mason University where she studied foreign languages and music. She holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Certification through the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) as well as a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) Certification through the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
Based in Bedford NH Rhoda serves clients in Massachusetts New Hamphshire and Rhode Island.
Mary Mickiewicz Finance amp; Administration Director
Mary directs the financial and administrative functions of KMA. She is also the information technology liaison and manages facilities office and equipment operations. She is an experienced team player with strong analytical and customer services skills.
Prior to KMA Mary worked for Maine Revenue Service.
Mary holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Husson College.
She lives in Portland with her husband two daughters and their rescue dog. In her down time Mary enjoys camping excursions with family and friends reading and hosting parties.
Debby Olken Business Development Director
Debby is an experienced human resources professional. For nearly 20 years she worked as HR director for two complex organizations (the Maine Judicial Branch and the Maine State Legislature) and as a KMA consultant she has worked with a variety of small and medium-sized businesses.
As KMAs Business Development Manager Debby meets regularly with prospective clients to understand their HR needs and explore how best KMA can provide immediate assistance and solutions and establish long-terms partnerships in all things HR. She also works closely with strategic business partners to ensure that KMA clients have broad access to the variety of professional business services that they may require.
Debby earned her SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) and her SHRM-SCP (Society for Human Resources Management Senior Certified Professional) designations and served on the Board of the Human Resources Association of Southern Maine. She holds a BA in History and Political Science from Indiana University a Masters an MS in Judicial Administration from the University of Denver and a Certification in Mediation from the University of Southern Maine.
Jenny Ellis Marketing Director
Jenny is a marketing and communications professional with a talent for organizing and synthesizing complex information and connecting to a target audience.
She has worked in a variety of industries including non-profit retail and B2B. She has also worked as a freelance copywriter designer and project manager for several Portland-based advertising agencies.
A graduate of St. Lawrence University Jenny earned her B.A. in Creative Writing.
Jenny and her husband have lived in Falmouth for more than 20 years. In addition to appreciating the constantly changing landscape of Maine she enjoys painting jewelry making and generally being creative.
Deb Bartol Consultant
Deb Bartol has over 20 years of Human Resources leadership experience including employee relations ADA and FMLA compliance and leave management performance management benefits administration compliance employment law and onboarding.
Most of her experience has been in the global banking industry; however she has also worked in the non-profit/social services sectors and health care software industry.
A member of the Society of Human Resources Management Deb has developed and facilitated training in how to conduct workplace investigations.
Christie DeMichael Consultant
Christie has more than 30 years of experience in Human Resources both nationally and internationally. In her leadership roles in the banking biotech and semi-conductor industries she developed expertise across multiple HR disciplines including strategic planning mergers and acquisitions leadership alignment talent assessment coaching organizational effectiveness employee engagement change management compensation diversity performance management employee relations and general human resource practices.

Gina has over a decade of experience in recruiting. This includes partnering with businesses to create hiring strategies and provide recruitment support as well as working hand in hand with candidates as they enter the job market and achieve the next steps in their career.
Her recruitment experience includes extensive executive search (sales operations finance and marketing leadership) as well as accounting human resources customer service and business development. Among the industries Gina has collaborated with are: manufacturing software and technology industrial consumer products retail insurance and higher education.
Gina earned her Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Old Dominion University in Virginia.
