The Business now known as Davidsons was established by Mr. George Wheatland. In the early 1900s he was joined by Mr. V.L Davidson and in 1913 the firms name became Wheatland amp; Davidson. Relocating to what was then ’Theatre Chambers’ in Ryrie Street in the mid 20s the firms name was changed to Victor L. Davidson amp; Company late in that decade with the retirement of Mr. G Wheatland.
Progress bought changes as well. In 1971 the firm left the premises it had occupied for some 46 years and moved to Quamby Chambers in Aberdeen Street Geelong.
In keeping with this demand we relocated to modern premises at 101 West Fyans Street Geelong and in addition we expanded to Torquay.
This is testimony to our commitment in providing the most effective accounting services to our clients for our anticipated expansion in the future…diversifying and growing with those we serve not only in Geelong but from the Western District through-out Victoria and Interstate.
