The practice was originally established by Andrew Frith and a small team in 2000. The aim was to differ from the ’normal’ accounting practices by offering a more holistic advisory service rather than just producing accounts. With the teams experience they establish a client centric business advisory firm that maximised the use of technology to ensure prompt appropriate solutions for their clients. They wanted a family friendly organisation that recognised and valued the needs of staff and clients.

History plays a part in Leenane Templeton. Contrary to some beliefs there were no original partners with the names of Leenane or Templeton. Leenane is the name of a County in a picturesque part of Ireland.
Templeton is the name of a prominent Novocastrian family who were active in establishing financial savings programmes in the Newcastle region in the early 20th Century. These were the forebears of Andrew Frith the CEO of Leenane Templeton.
In 2012 the firm moved from smaller offices at 239 King Street with 12 staff and today has a significantly larger team located at Level 2 134 King Street Newcastle. With some of the regions top advisors our team consists of a wide range of skills and experience helping both individuals and business owners.
