IT/IQ recognizes that we are all responsible for the communities and environment in which we live work and play. In 2007 IT/IQ launched a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program to give back to the community that has supported our success and to encourage a positive impact on our environment communities and the people we work with.
IT/IQ has been a strong supporter of the United Way of the Lower Mainland since 2012 when IT/IQs president Feras Elkhalil joined the United Way Cabinet representing the technology sector. A large percentage of IT/IQs charitable donation dollars are put it into the UW supporting programs in our community. Our team has contributed both financially and through volunteerism on an annual basis to several of the organizations worthy causes.
Each year the team at IT/IQ participates in the Presents of Peace program and sponsors several low-income families and provides Christmas hampers of food clothing toys and grocery gift cards. Our team has fun choosing items that fulfill their wish lists!
IT/IQ has been a proud sponsor of the BC Childrens Hospital for 15 years helping deliver on its mission to provide full-service pediatric acute hospital care for children living in BC and the Yukon.
The Feras Elkhalil – IT/IQ Award is an annual award established in honour of Mr. Feras Elkhalil BCIT alumni and president of IT/IQ. Each year this $1000 bursary is granted to a leading professional sales student that clearly exemplifies the values that Mr. Elkhalil and his team at IT/IQ strive to uphold: leadership service and a strong work ethic. It is given from one sales professional to another to recognize one students achievements and in encouragement of their future pursuits within the professional sales industry.
The Ali Elkhalil Award of Excellence has been named for Ali Elkhalil father of IT/IQ president Feras Elkhalil in recognition of his support and encouragement of IT/IQ from its inception. Alis dedication to hard work a selfless attitude and positive energy were the drivers behind the creation of this award. The Ali Elkhalil Award of Excellence is presented to the outstanding IT/IQ team member who has demonstrated hard work unselfish dedication to IT/IQ and the willingness to go above and beyond their work.
