Mark Sherman is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Media Experts. He has guided the agency from its creation in 1981 to become Canadas largest independent media services company before it was acquired by IPG Mediabrands in 2015.

A recognized leader in the Canadian advertising community Mark is regarded by agencies and customers alike as a strategic advertising thinker and by the media selling community as a relentless negotiator. His approach to media coupled with a unique techno-acumen has also earned Mark the reputation of media futurist.

Mark has instilled in the Media Experts team a ’customer first philosophy.’ He has bred a group of media professionals who go far beyond the conventional to create effective media solutions for our customers designed to build their businesses and maximize customers return on their advertising investments.

A recognized leader in the Canadian media landscape Robert has a proven ability to marry client needs with agency offerings to build stronger brands and drive impressive results. Through measured steps active listening and intelligent risks he capitalizes on prime conditions to reach strategic goals. His passion and leadership embolden the team to make a bigger impression: on our clients on our agency and on the industry. Examples of his achievements are reflected in the strength of our client relationships and the reputation of excellence that Media Experts has built.

During his time as SVP of Digital for Media Experts Robert was instrumental in developing activating and amplifying our digital practice including the launches of our substantial Search practice as well as XPETO our proprietary online advertising trading desk. Now as President he is evolving our customer-focused model to further our mission as a data-savvy solutions-driven cross channel media agency bringing the agency and our clients into the next frontier of media solutions.

Outside of Media Experts Robert extends three decades of experience on both the vendor and agency side having propelled the digital agenda for Canoe.ca Excite Canada Standard Interactive Microsoft and The Globe and Mail. He is currently a board member of Vividata contributes regularly to Media in Canada and has sat on the jury panel of several Canadian and international media industry awards.

Lisa draws upon her estimable leadership skills and inexhaustible energy to lead all facets of Media Experts operations nationally. Her 35 years of multichannel media buying and planning experience inform her comprehensive knowledge of all media channels and their respective roles in influencing consumer behavior.

Lisa is a tireless champion of designing and executing effective and results-focused solutions each specifically designed to meet the unique requirements of our customers. She instills and reinforces this disciplined practice with her colleagues ensuring that Media Experts exacting standards are applied at every stage of the media research valuation and execution processes.

In his role as Chief Procurement Officer Richard is responsible for all media investment and relationships with our media vendors. He ensures that our clients consistently enjoy superior media value by institutionalizing bespoke trading strategies procedures and tactics that maximize customization innovation and advertising effectiveness. He consistently draws on his unique consumer insight skills incisive analysis and contagious enthusiasm to develop custom designed strategic media plans for clients such as Bell Michael Hill and Planet Fitness.

An exceptional negotiator Richards talent in bringing innovative and custom-designed strategic direction to Media Experts clients has been finely tuned over a 25-year career of extensive cross-platform media buying and planning experience. He holds a degree in advertising and media from Torontos Humber College and completed a program in negotiation skills through Harvard University.

Richard spins his natural leadership and industry know-how to gold winning top honours at the 2015 Media Innovation Awards in Radio for his work with Bell. He is a regular contributor to publications like Media in Canada and has taken the stage at industry events like Future TV Forum.

Over the course of twenty years in digital media thirteen of those with Media Experts Karel has worked with some of Canadas most successful brands to create effective and unforgettable campaigns. In his role as Executive Vice President his laser focus on digital strategy execution and deployment consistently delivers high-yield campaigns and measurable results for Media Experts clients.

Karel has an unshakable commitment to getting brands ahead of the curve and keeping them there. At Media Experts he was instrumental in launching our search practise Canadas first Business Intelligence offering and Xpeto Canada#39;s first agency programmatic trading desk. Most recently he spearheaded the launch of their Audience amp; Analytics service – another example of how his digital knowledge keeps Media Experts at the helm of industry norms and provides our clients with a cutting-edge solution.

His understanding of the digital landscape and leadership have led Media Experts to win twenty industry awards in Search Mobile and Digital innovation in the past two years for clients such as BMW MINI Bell and WestJet.

Kris Davis Senior Vice President Customer Service brings to Media Experts over 20 years of experience in media strategy and buying in both independent media management companies and prominent full service agencies.

Kris solid strategic focus extensive research abilities and keen consumer insight have been honed planning on a variety of accounts from iconic and innovative global brands to disciplined packaged goods companies automotive travel and leisure and national retailers. Kris also has considerable experience developing and executing multi-party promotions and sponsorship packages on behalf of marketers across multiple categories.

Kris has spearheaded numerous research projects aimed at garnering a better understanding of the consumers mindset lifestyle and their media consumption across all channels to establish the most meaningful connection between brands and consumers.

Breakthrough media ideas Kris and his team developed have won over ten industry awards on the international circuit in the past two years for brands like BMW and Pizza Pizza.

Unfailingly personable and resourceful Flavia DOrazio brings over 20 years of media research planning and buying experience to her role as Vice President Customer Service. Her extensive experience across all media channels combined with a highly results-focused approach underpin Flavias commitment to the growth of our customers businesses. A lifelong student of human nature she draws on her Sociology Degree to understand and analyze consumer behaviour.

Whether negotiating with our partner suppliers or leading Media Experts teams in the execution of custom-designed media plans Flavia searches relentlessly for the breakthrough solution that ensures our customers needs are attentively and cost-effectively delivered. The collaborative relationships Flavia nurtures with creative and vendor partners continue to enable innovative and award-winning results.

Armed with over 25 years of financial and business management experience Vasso plays a pivotal role overseeing all daily financial and accounting operations of the company. Vasso combines her ability to attract great talent with strong leadership skills to motivate and coach her team members to achieve all established objectives. She ensures Media Experts payroll administration billing collection and financial reporting teams adhere to industry-leading processes.

Under Vassos detail-oriented leadership the Finance Department ensures the rigorous scrutiny of all customer expenditures and the clear and concise administration of all customer billing and adjustments.

Patricia has twenty years of experience planning and buying online media for major brands across several categories including Bell Virgin Mobile WestJet MBNA and Royal Canadian Mint in addition to regionally specific and highly-targeted campaigns. She leads our Digital department and its team helping them shape their role as digital thought leaders and navigating our client business through this ever-evolving landscape.

This digital dexterity is nothing new. Instrumental in launching Media Experts digital practice since its inception Patricias passion for the rapidly evolving digital space ensures that she stays current by managing relationships with our digital vendors and positioning our customers to benefit from new opportunities emerging technologies and the early insights gained from leveraging first-to market opportunities.

Patricias guidance has pushed her teams to take home twenty industry awards in Mobile Search Marketing and Digital innovation in the past 2 years for clients such as MINI BMW WestJet and Pizza Pizza.
