Dave is the former CTO of Matrikon and has 29 years of industrial experience in automation and deriving value from analysis of operational data. He has designed asset performance monitoring software installed at hundreds of sites and is a recipient of the DG Fisher Award for Process Systems Engineering.
Dave was instrumental in the development of Matrikons products and solutions especially those involving complex data analysis and the integration of data from multiple sources permitting centralized monitoring and management of distributed fleets of assets and large groups of operators. He also defined and managed the companys Ramp;D and knowledge management programs.
Leanna is passionate tenacious and driven to help organizations find ways to be more innovative strategic and productive through their digital transformation journey. She was providing ’IIoT’ solutions before they were called ’IIoT’ solutions. Leanna brings over 20 years of consulting sales marketing global program management and leadership experience to the team. She specializes in helping industrial companies solve their operational information management problems with proven results. She spent over 15 years at Matrikon (and then Honeywell Advanced Solutions) working with clients from ’Shop Floor to Top Floor’ in designing developing and implementing global enterprise solutions and programs to solve their business problems.
Leanna is a consistent high performer who leverages strong communication interpersonal and organizational skills with her comprehensive experience to respond to client needs and ensure objectives are realized. Her areas of expertise are as follows: Sales amp; Marketing Business Development Pricing amp; Promotions Global Program and Enterprise Product Launch Go-to-market Strategy amp; Implementation Branding and Relationship Selling.
Nils served his early years with Imperial Oil working in instrumentation/measurement advanced controls field engineering (construction and production) and project management. He joined Matrikon and served as an executive helping the company grow from 7 to over 500 employees. Throughout his time at Matrikon Nils initiated several new business groups including operations management process information management and contract software. He led the company into new industries including power generation and nuclear projects; when serving as CIO he completed the first outsourcing.
For the last ten years Nils was the Chief Technology Officer for Cogent Industrial Solutions spearheading the development of OPX Operations Management for Plant Monitoring – 2012 Finalist of Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters Awards for New Technology and subsequently the development of an infrastructure for rapid deployment of operations management applications.
With 39 years of experience Nils has worked in diverse industries including oil and gas production hydrocarbon processing pharmaceuticals mining and minerals processing power generation (hydro coal and nuclear) engineered wood products and semiconductor water manufacturing.
Alvaro brings over 20 years of experience applying digital applications to solve industrial problems. Since 1999 and through his career in ECOPETROL Matrikon Honeywell Advanced Solutions and Hatch he has participated in early-adopter innovative digital and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) projects. He has also participated as subject matter expert in customer advisory boards for Matrikon and Honeywell in the areas of real-time time-series data systems (historians) and Manufacturing Operations Management systems (MOM). He is currently contributing to the Global Mining Guidelines Group as part of the Interoperability working group.
For the last 7 years at Hatch Alvaro was the Global Director for Smart Industries and Systems Integration Practices. He was responsible for the inception of new digital service offerings such as digital transformation digital twins for operating assets asset intelligence integrated operations and remote service enablement. He is very strong at working with abstracts and concepts and developing them into commercial offerings using Technology Readiness Levels (TRL) and implementation strategies such as ’The Golden Run’ ’The Marathoner Approach to KPIs – OEE/OPE ™️’ and ’Software Manufacturing ™️’.
