Upon entering high school Emil realized there wasnt an affordable way for students to communicate with each other digitally. Thus Emil founded the schools IRC channel approaching even the most influential pupils and earning their backing. Emil kept riding this wave until he graduated in 2006 enjoying his social media before it was even a term. After school he realized that the same skills could be used to connect brands with audiences – and the rest is history.

Having started as a trainee editor at PC-Welt in 2011 Friedrich quickly climbed to reviewing hardware and building high-end gaming computers on camera. At the end of 2015 Friedrich started freelancing and joined technikPR to bring all his journalistic skills over the years together.

Shortly afterwards he became a freelance writer for PC Games Hardware followed with an editorial position at PC-Max. In 2011 he became editor-in-chief of PC-Max enabling him to build a large network of media and manufacturer contacts. Which is why four years later he moved to technikPR to become a respected and well-connected PR manager.
