Zoan is a full stack VR studio that creates high-quality virtual reality (VR) experiences and real-time 3D Models. Our solutions are based on a technological innovation such as the unique 3D modeling platform for real estate. Others focus on virtual storytelling and creating powerful experiences and simulated realities for marketing travel and education. Our projects are recognized and known for their high visual quality.
ZOAN is based in Helsinki Finland with offices in Los Angeles and Brazil. We are a growing international team of 31 people. We provide a unique advantage having such a diverse background which gives our projects a cool international twist. I started a company in Brazil with Miikka in June 2016 working with projects exclusively to Finnish market with the same functions of the another company. Today I manage the Company give support to the team with my 17 years of ArchViz know how solving problems giving tips and trying with other professionals to help our team to achieve the next quality level.
Something that I love is study watch videos on youtube about bussiness constructions and interior designer fashion personal finances and bible stufs. Now I am searching courses and MBA about bussines personal and finances development.
I have a dream someday have a channel or blog and reach too many people with some important subject that I didnt decided yet which one. I like to teach and share some type of wisdow and besides that I I know the power of a good image or video so link that with some personal skills that include think and create contents and imagine what something could cause in people all of that helps me to dream about someday have my own blog or channel.
During the last 10 years Ive also done a variety of jobs. From music composition and arrangement for bands orchestras and movie screens to Sales and Management in one of Helsinkis largest Antique Stores where I received in-depth knowledge on Finnish Design and Visual Styles.
Im very curious to learn ways to better peoples lives and individual performance and well-being. For this I read quite a good amount of books to help me understand these things better. Most often I find it to be a matter of Balance and defining Balance for ones own self. For me its a combination of physical mental and creative pursuits.
From the Sport aspect I am very much into Sports that happen on extreme conditions: while in Finland this means rock-climbing and hiking also Snowboarding during Winter-times. When visiting Brazil I enjoy surfing em waves. Generally Sports where Im surrounded by Natural Forces is the best places for me to find myself in.
Music is another one: I enjoy composing/arranging for bands and orchestras. I sing and perform both popular and classical music in different groups and bands. On Sundays I also play in the Worship band of my Church.
I am a PhD Candidate at the University of Sao Paulo in the filed of Architecture and Urbanism Master in Digital Art and Bachelor in Fine Arts. I completed a master in interior design in 2012.

I graduated in Architecture and Urbanism (2005-2011) during university I discovered my passion towards architectural visualization and I did 3D for my school mates. Before graduating I started working at HD Ilustracoes (3 months) where I had my first experience in the area of Archiviz but the architectural market wasnt that good and my contract wasnt renewed. Shortly after that I was hired by the company Arte digital and I stayed there for over a year until I got the opportunity to study French in Switzerland for 4 months. During the same year (2012) the company Davila Arquitetura e Engenharia hired me and I stayed there for 3 years until the financial crisis of 2015. For two years I worked as a volunteer architect in Brazil and Uruguay helping the Comunidade Figueira with architectural projects; and in the same time in Belo Horizonte I was involved with volunteer work related to animals saved from the street and missionary work helping people to have decent housing and helping in a dog kennel where the owner saved over 100 animals. In 2015 and 2016 I worked as a freelancer for Decora Marketplace and for the architect Renata Basques and Construtora Costa Jr. In 2017 I started with Novus Ltda and Im still continuing with missionary work helping wherever necessary like in Brumadinho with the organization Fraternidade Internacional.
Start by teaching Mechanical and Technical Design and engineering software such as Autocad and Solidworks then move on to architectural design and related software such as Sketchup.
I have working experiences from both multinational corporation and SMEs in Finland in different business functions for 7 years. It gives great overview and structure of a successful business and different beneficial tools for growth and problem solving. I also have proven track of executing several demanding projects at the same time and building things from scratch and pay attention to both the structures and details of the things that I do.
I enjoy helping Zoan and Virtual Helsinki entering Chinese market my responsibilities include but not limit to: business development and new account acquisition market research and analyse advising product development for China market and project coordination. It has been a really exciting and pleasant journey as I am able to get involved and develop many new projects meanwhile working with so many outstanding loving and brilliant Zoan people.
My role at Zoan is to lead sales in real estate and develop real estate as a whole together with Rapha.
Presently Im heartily giving some classes at ZOAN too about Blender and its workflow. I work as a 3D modeller creating any variety of furniture vegetation or architectural models when needed but I can also texturize or generate textures from scratch.
I worked 8 years in the mining market developing 3D for mine management focused software and its production. I worked at the same company in marketing and advertising. Negotiation and measurement (Before and after) installation of 3D software to create cases that were presented in magazines later. (Hexagon – Devex Mining) Previously I had my own product photography and 3D Design company.
I love watching movies with my wife series (netflix o/) especially when it comes to space time travel and intelligent science fiction and I like a good plot twist.
In addition to these hobbies I work on my project person game ’Fobia – O Jogo’. And I take the time to learn some new things in the unreal engine especially related to mobile development where I have less knowledge. I like theater and electronic music.
I have worked in 3d modeling of dams power plants water treatment plants road complexes mining areas as well as both industrial and residential neighborhoods. Nowadays in Novus/Zoan working as 3d environment modeler also implementing a workflow for large areas to unreal engine.
Such powerful experience led me to start my own company called Biz Solucoes Digitais (BizSD) in 2015 and pursuit the dream of creating meaningful and accessible experiences for everyone. In order to make this happen Ive taken several administration courses including the United Nations Empretec which transformed my personal and professional life and helped lay a solid ground for my startup. The excellence of our work brought me to ZOAN in 2016 at first as a client and later as a workplace in Helsinki.
At ZOAN Ive been as a Jack-of-all-trades during the company initial growth period having coordinated and developed more than 100 XR related projects in less than a three years period and still counting! Currently as a CPO Ive been working in ways of improving the way we bring good XR experiences to the world.
With an open-heart and a humble spirit I seek to always keeping learning and improving myself after all a better ’we’ starts with a better ’me’.
