Newsquest Scotland Events is the events division for Newsquest Media in Scotland. Home to The Herald Evening Times and numerous leading media brands. We organise over 30 leading industry events per year ranging from Business Breakfasts and Conferences to Award Ceremonies. We also offer our event management services to create bespoke creative solutions tailored to your business needs.
What can our events do for your organisation?
I have been with the business for over seven years time certainly has flown by with new event concepts and building on our existing portfolio. I am extremely proud of how the department has grown and continues to flourish and offer clients unique brand positioning. Along with my love of events I am avid lover of fashion interior design and my beloved boyband…Boyzone.
I manage a variety of events from regional awards through to conferences focusing on Diversity amp; Inclusion. No two days are the same within my role but working with so many different people and sectors is always rewarding. Something that always surprises people about me is that behind the black-tie dinner dresses is a country girl. At the weekend you can find me driving about the countryside driving my husbands blue Ford Tractor.
My role is to deliver multiple events across the year creating an event experience for our guests as well as building and maintaining client relationships across all sectors. I love my job and the challenges that come with it and when Im not thinking of new ways to enhance our events you will find me in one of three places in the gym on my couch drinking a white wine spritzer or roaming the shops for new home decor!
