We host a series of Diversity in Technology events Meetups and thought-leadership programmes. Forever Manchester recognise our fundraising efforts for the charity and we are named corporate supporter of the year. We create an Internal Talent Acquisition function to support our ambitions growth plans.

We make The Sunday Times Top 100 Small Companies to Work For list for the first time. We receive a two-star accreditation from Best Companies. Were awarded Best Corporate Graduate Site at the Onrec Awards. Melissa Houghton wins the Recruitment Professional of the Year at the Insider North West Young Professionals Awards.

We undergo a rebranding exercise from Oscar Associates to split into Oscar Technology amp; Oscar Energy brands key is the need for positive impact with the communities we recruit for. Oscar Technology is launched in our US office to mitigate the risk of the collapsed oil price.

Oscars now famous ’School of Excellence’ is created; we appoint an internal Head of Training to develop all of our recruitment staff. We win our first Managed Service Provider contract with a global oil producer - Maersk in Houston; Oscar staff are embedded on Maersks site as part of the process in a true partnership.

Our first international Oscar office opens in Houston TX.

Under new management Oscar moves to Grade A offices in Manchester city centre heralding a new era for the company and an appetite for future growth and success.
