The Immersive4Learning platform will adopt the Advanced Technology AIDE from KTH and Industrial Platform Neural Compute Stick (NCS) from Intel. The AIDE enables the implementation of the core linked data model connecting heterogeneous data sources and descriptions within the Virtual Reality Learning Environment (VRLE). The NCS is used to perform the demanding computation on the edge with collected data from the VR environment parametrizing the heterogeneous data collected using the AI and then forwarding the abstracted data for further processing to the cloud in order to perform VR content personalization.

Immersive4Learning is an intelligent platform powered by artificial intelligence (AI) and pedagogical and cognitive models for creation and delivery of teaching material in the Virtual Reality environments. It utilizes a set of pedagogical models including gamification and behaviour learning style and cognitive performance monitoring engine enabling dynamic personalization of the learning experience.

Creation of Augmented Reality (AR) serious games that integrate Internet of Things (IoT) Advanced Data Modelling and Analysis techniques Recommendation mechanism and Gamification to facilitate the deployment of innovative energy aware IT ecosystems for motivating end-users behavioural changes towards energy consumption reduction in buildings.

ARgenie is a web browser on-line tool which enables RAPID and SIMPLE creation and deployment of AR applications using #39;dragamp;drop#39; concept which does not require programming skills. It is a cross-platform cloud-based service for building AR powered smartphone tablet or desktop applications. The solution enables application execution on any desired platform: Android iOS Windows and Mac.

The SMARTIE project works on security privacy and trust for data exchange between IoT devices and consumers of their information. Results are demonstrated in smart cities in Germany Serbia and Spain. Further partners are from Portugal and the UK.

CITI-SENSE will develop ’citizens observatories’ to empower citizens to contribute to and participate in environmental governance to enable them to support and influence community and societal priorities and associated decision making. CITI-SENSE will develop test demonstrate and validate a community-based environmental monitoring and information system using innovative and novel Earth Observation applications.
