Chief Executive Officer
Robert Digby serves as CEO and Board Member for Apex HCM. Robert brings to Apex 25 years of experience in the payroll time and attendance and human resources industry.
Roberts track record of leading and growing payroll and HCM companies includes CEO and President roles at Sage Payroll Services PayChoice RSM McGladrey and the small business payroll division at Ceridian.
Robert applies his experience to creating success in challenging technical outsourcing and SaaS/Cloud environments. Robert builds cohesive teams that lead organizations to achieve growth and improvement of the customer experience.
Prior to joining the business world Robert served as a Captain in the U.S. Army and received his B.A. in Economics from the Virginia Military Institute.
Chief Information Officer
Kevin Lenahan serves as Apex HCM Chief Information Officer. Kevin is responsible for Apexs cloud-based system architecture security and expanding the companys best-in-class product and service solutions.
Kevin is an experienced trainer with 18 years of broad-ranging experience including extensive knowledge of application development database design project management and network infrastructure. He has multiple Microsoft Certifications as well as a Citrix Administrator Certification for Metaframe 1.8. Prior to joining Apex Kevin has provided his expertise in application development to clients ranging from small business engagements to large scale enterprise applications including two startup companies and training developers at Turner.
Kevin holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems from Auburn University.
Chief Financial Officer
Mike Shah serves as the Chief Financial Officer of the Company. He has over 25 years of accounting and finance experience with his last 8+ years primarily focused in the financial technology software arena.
Mike has a notable track record of performance leading early and mid-stage growth companies. Prior to joining Apex HCM Mike served as Divisional CFO for Worldpay/Vantiv and as Vice President of Finance amp; Accounting at Paymetric where he managed the financial operations of the Company and played a key role in the strategy and execution of operational and financial initiatives leading to significant value creation.
Mike began his career at Deloitte as a Certified Public Accountant where he served in the Financial Services Audit group. He left public accounting to follow his passion for business and founded and managed a successful office products company for 16 years. During his tenure as CEO/CFO Mike was responsible for its record growth and profitability.
Mike graduated summa cum laude from Louisiana State University where he earned a BS degree with a concentration in accounting and finance.
Senior Director of Operations
Brian manages and develops the ongoing processes and procedures for client support and education including Apexs Training Webinar Series group trainings and even occasionally facilities individual customer onsite trainings.
Brian brings extensive operations development and marketing experience in the technology and payroll industry. His knowledge and skillset have made him a well-versed jack of all trades for the industry. Prior to Apex Brian oversaw the Time amp; Labor department at Sage. During his time there he led the time amp; labor team to some of the highest customer satisfaction metrics across all of Sage North America products.
Brian holds a Bachelors in Sociology from University of Louisville.
Vice President of Product Management
Wes serves as the Vice President of Product Management for Apex HCM. His role within Apex is to understand the needs of the market advocate for our clients evaluate opportunities and drive the teams towards a shared vision of success for our clients and Apex.
Immediately before joining Apex HCM Wes spent 2 years with Deloitte Consulting and 8 years with ADP serving primarily in product management and strategy roles. Prior to joining the private sector Wes was fortunate to have served as a commissioned officer in the United States Army to include a one-year deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Wes holds a Master of Science in Technology Commercialization from the McCombs Business School at UT Austin. He also is a Level-6 certified product manager by the Pragmatic Institute.
Director of Sales amp; Account Management
Misty Blakesley serves as Director of Sales and Account Management for Apex HCM leading the Sales Team and Account Management Team.
Misty brings extensive sales and leadership experience in the payroll/HCM industry. She brings diverse knowledge and skillset from her time with organizations like Paychex ADP and Heartland Payroll. Mistys role in leading the sales team is to win new SBO business. She is also responsible for the Account Management team whose primary goal is support the growth of all Apexs current clients. She led the team to a record-breaking sales year in 2018.
Misty holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Economics from Oglethorpe University and her MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management.
Director Software Engineering
Nilesh is the Director of Software Engineering at Apex HCM where he leads software development for Apex HCM solutions.
Nilesh brings with him over 25 years of experience in the IT function developing enterprise solutions for the payroll financial and airline industries. He brings success to the organization through his leadership skills and applying Lean software development principles in the enterprise. Prior to joining Apex HCM Nilesh successfully led several strategic product development initiatives at Ovation Payroll Heartland Payroll and Global Payments.
Nilesh received his B.E in Industrial Electronics from University of Pune and his MBA from Emory Universitys Goizueta Business School with focus in Strategy and Decision Sciences.
