Barrington Media Group was founded in 2003 by Peter Stavisky on the simple principal of approaching direct response media buying from a different point of view.

Pete figured he could achieve great media efficiencies for his clients by taking big personal risks and buying large blocks of network inventory upfront. First his friends told him he was crazy and that he was going to lose everything. Then the media strategy worked really well and pretty soon his clients were asking how much more he could buy for them…and the company was off to the races.

Fifteen years later we continue to differentiate ourselves in everything we do from our deep commitment to data analytics and relentless campaign optimization to our BMG Performance Based TV amp; Radio Platform.

Tim has spent the last 25+ years engaged in a diverse range of media and marketing focused positions in both the corporate and entrepreneurial worlds. Tim began his career working for legendary adman George Lois cutting his advertising teeth on accounts like ABC Sports.

He went on to a couple of different stints in radio first in national business development for the Interep Radio Group and later as an executive for CBS Radios convergence marketing arm The Altitude Group

Tim spent a chunk of his career in professional sports serving as VP Sales amp; Marketing for the Continental Basketball Association and then as a part of the business start-up team for the NHLs Phoenix Coyotes heading up corporate sales and marketing. Tim has also been involved in a number of entrepreneurial ventures including starting a direct response product development company in the natural health space. Tim joined Peter at Barrington Media in 2007 to help grow and expand the business.


As Chief Financial Officer Marc leads our finance organization with responsibility for accounting financial strategy planning and analysis corporate development investor relations audit and compliance.

Marc is a seasoned financial executive with nearly 20 years of experience encompassing leadership roles in private equity mid-market operating companies and a global Fortune 100 organization.

Prior to joining BMG in June 2020 Marc served as Vice President of Finance and Interim CFO at Tangoe a private equity backed technology and managed services company where he was responsible for global aspects of FPamp;A sales analytics customer collections along with controllership legal compliance and facilities.

Previously Marc led the transformation of the FPamp;A team at XO Group (formerly TheKnot.com) in the digital media and advertising industry following six years in private equity at Fortress Investment Group where he developed built and managed the portfolio company reporting and analytics infrastructure across 20+ operating companies.

Marc began his career at General Electric (GE) on their esteemed management development programs including the Financial Management Program and Corporate Audit Staff. He holds a B.S. in Finance and Economics from Penn State University and his MBA from Cornell Universitys SC Johnson Graduate School of Management.

Scott brings more than 22 years of multi-channel brand response marketing success to the Barrington Media Group team. A universally respected industry veteran his relationships run deep across all media and marketing services channels.

With an unwavering commitment to cost-effective customer acquisition he has proven his ability to develop and execute campaigns to maximize the effectiveness and performance of all media channels. An expert in media mix optimization Scott has consistently delivered growth and increased market share and awareness for his clients which have included Fortune 500 companies across the ecommerce financial services insurance fundraising telecommunications and consumer electronics categories.

Equally dedicated to maximizing lifetime customer value for his clients Scott has been the architect of dynamic CRM platforms across various business models delivering increased revenues and profitability through data-driven and targeted database marketing efforts.

Matt Delmonte

Matt first came to BMG in 2013 when he was originally hired as an analyst after graduating from the University of Connecticut with a B.S. in Statistics. Matt exceled quickly learned the business and was an important part of BMGs core. Matt left BMG after a couple years to work in Corporate Finance at Sikorsky Aircraft where he added to his analytical and project management skillset. Matt was accepted into Lockheed Martins Financial Leadership Development Program but ultimately made the decision to return to BMG in July 2017 to oversee a portion of the Analytics department. Matt was promoted in early 2018 to Director of Client Services amp; Head of Accounts and has since taken on more responsibilities and helped grow some of BMGs biggest accounts.

BMGs VP of Media Planning and Analysis Kevin has been an integral part of Barrington Media Group since he began his professional career here back in 2008. He was originally hired as a BMG analyst utilizing his analytical skills and education in finance to maintain and expand the success of many key BMG accounts. In his career with Barrington Kevin has been promoted six times and spent the majority of his time managing BMGs team of analysts and full list of ongoing campaigns as Manager of Client Services.

Thomas Starr has enjoyed the past 10+ years working in the fast paced world of media placements and advertising helping companies acquire customers and grow their businesses. Along the way Thomas has built great working relationships with key representatives of radio and television stations/groups across the country. Having spent the beginning of his career working for a direct response radio agency Thomas then went on to work in the Daily Fantasy Sports space for both Draftstreet and DraftKings. As the Marketing Specialist for Draftstreet he introduced off-line media to the roll-out efforts helping to significantly grow the user base in a short period of time. Following his time with the Daily Fantasy sites Thomas went on to do some consultant work and business development for several advertising agencies.

BMGs Director of Operations Jhon has quickly become a key component of Barrington Media Group since first being hired in 2014. Originally hired as an analyst Jhon proved to be an asset to the business as he helped grow several important accounts and maintained a keen eye for optimizing the way analysis and data were used at BMG. After a couple of years at Lockheed Martin as a member of their U.S. Government Pricing Team Jhon returned to Barrington in late 2017. Leveraging his experience in Business Systems and Technology along with his analytical skills he was promoted in early 2018 to lead the Operations departments efforts in creating automation and big data solutions at Barrington.

Preston joined the Barrington team in 2014 as a staff accountant after graduating with a degree in finance from Quinnipiac University. In his current role as the Director of Finance he provides oversite to the internal accounting tracking and controls activities. He and his team also work to ensure that Barrington clients and employees have the correct up-to-date tracking to run successful profitable and mutually beneficial campaigns. Preston is always willing to lend a hand to keep things running smoothly across the company and can often be found tackling technical issues or assisting with long term company initiatives.

Growing up in Washington DC Maureen had always aspired to pursue a career in politics however after graduating from Fairfield University with a double major in Business Communications and Spanish she found that she had a passion for advertising so any political aspirations would have to wait.  She came to Barrington Media Group in 2012 after working in digital marketing and branding.  Over her years at Barrington Maureen worked her way up the ranks in both the media and finance departments.  After a handful of promotions Maureen used her diversified skillset to find her sweet spot in key account management.

 

Prior to founding Blackbird Garage Steve was the founder of a mobile payments company called LineHop which provided a mobile SAAS offering to SMBs.

 

Nick joined Barrington Media Group through the acquisition of Blackbird Garage a paid social media agency known for scaling some of the most successful DTC eCommerce brands.  As a co-owner of Blackbird Garage Nick had his hands in everything from biz dev client management product strategy leadership HR and more.

 

Prior to Blackbird Garage Nick was the 5th employee and VP of Sales at GrubHub for 7 years.  While there he built a sales and account management department from scratch and grew it to about 100 people.  GrubHub successfully IPOd in 2014.

 


Eduardo arrived at BMG in 2014 where he was originally hired as a Media Buyer after graduating from Pace University with a B.B.A in Finance. He took on BMGs very first digital campaign and took his first steps into digital advertising.

 

After a year he left BMG to join Zenith Media in New York City on their analytics team where he analyzed all aspects of digital campaign performance ranging from paid social SEM programmatic display online-video native and high-impact for the General Mills and COTY two giants of the CPG food and mass/prestige beauty industries.

 

He later joined Stella Rising as Analytics Manager where he gained experience contributing to digital transformation attribution business intelligence data science and exposure to mid-size brands in the CPG beauty retail e-commerce and services industries and their unique challenges to demonstrate return on media investment.

 

In mid-2020 he rejoined Barrington to lend his experience and contribute to establishing digital performance and omni-channel measurement capabilities.

 

Prior to joining Barrington in early 2015 Tyler completed his Undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management in 2013 and started his MBA with a concentration in Finance. In the early part of 2015 Tyler accepted an Analyst position with the team here at Barrington Media quickly learning the ins and outs of the position growing his accounts and continuously taking on additional assignments and larger workloads. After a year at Barrington Tyler accepted an opportunity at Sikorsky a Lockheed Martin Company as an US Government Pricing Analyst where he continued to demonstrate and continuously improve his financial and analytical knowledge and program management capabilities. After a three year career at Sikorsky Tyler made the decision to rejoin the Barrington team at the start of 2019 taking the role of Manager of Media Analytics managing a team of Analyst and the corresponding workload and responsibilities.
