Lucy formerly Equals 3 was founded by seasoned martech entrepreneurs Dan Mallin Marc Dispensa and Scott Litman in 2015. Dan Mallin is a force in technology-based entrepreneurship creating transformative tools that serve the needs of Fortune 1000 marketers and the agencies that serve them. Working with business partner Scott Litman hes repeatedly broken new ground in the digital marketing services space. Together the two have grown and sold four businesses and built forward-thinking ad tech platforms that are still in use day-to-day by some of the worlds largest brands agencies and media firms.
Marc Dispensa invents tech solutions that give marketing and advertising agencies a competitive digital edge. Hes a visionary serial entrepreneur with a track record of bringing new ideas to life growing emerging companies to a position of strength and enhancing the businesses of both clients and the agencies that serve them. Besides his business leadership and innovative mind Dispensa also has technology know-how. He has architected and developed ad tech platforms that integrate with MediaOcean AppNexus and Google digital ad products to drive efficiencies across the media buying and selling process for some of the worlds biggest brands.
Scott Litman is an entrepreneur in search of new ways technology can advance the mission of chief marketing officers advertising and media agencies. From the early days of the Internet and the first websites to business portals of the dot com era to the latest generation of 1:1 marketing — integrating sales service and marketing — Litman and his business partner Dan Mallin have a broad history of building businesses that help clients including Fortune 1000 marketers and large ad agencies take advantage of cutting-edge digital transformation.
Steve Frederickson creates technology to enable people and he serves as shepherd to the future of Lucy the product. Steve is an inventor entrepreneur and user experience expert who brings a decade of product management and software engineering experience to the team. In past lives he has built and launched products to a billion-plus user base in Big Tech along with founding two startups of his own. His passion is for bringing everyone to the table in order to create technology that solves real problems for real people.
With over 20 years of integrated marketing expertise Lisa Bergerson leads the marketing efforts for Lucy. She is responsible for developing and executing a brand strategy geared towards growth and market leadership. Lisa brings extensive experience and a successful track-record of helping organizations grow and evolve while building a strong brand and driving sales. Prior to Lucy Lisa has led marketing teams from startups to global corporations across a variety of industries including digital marketing nonprofit financial commercial real estate and hospitality.
Luke Burns leads our dedication to world-class support in propelling each clients experience with Lucy. His role extends from client adoption of Lucy to leveraging her for long-term business success. Luke began with the company as a customer success manager gaining both experience and a successful track-record of managing client support user experience and market research. Previously he worked at Wells Fargo building relationships and servicing customers in the technology media telecom and private equity industries.
