About INKognito Content Full Service Digital company in Melbourne Beach, United States
Hello I am Laetitia de Lannoy – Fernandez your content creative. I am a French native Belgian-American dual citizen. I specialize in international and bilingual cause-driven businesses with whom I share my insight on both cultures and markets. I graduated in Psychology in 2005 and that need to care for others is just an integral part of who I am. I hope to be able to put my ability to listen my taste for research and analysis and my deep understanding of human nature at the service of your cause.
When I am not working in front of a screen you will most likely find me taking care of my two little ones or training my dog. On weekends I find inspiration hiking in the forest traveling and visiting new places or reading a good book. I am a fan of horseback riding and ski which I have practiced since I was a child. Overall I am just a big passionate of nature and wildlife and I love to sketch or paint it on occasions.
I am a self-taught content creator. I have been working in content creation for over 8 years now. I have grown my skills and earned my stripes through college classes online courses tutorials and more.
In addition to the more technical skills listed here I feel that my MS in Psychology gives me great perspective into customers psychology and thus marketing also.
I grew up in the country side in the French part of Belgium in Europe. Since my childhood I have always been fascinated with the great outdoors. As a kid pencil sketches of wolves and wild mustangs illustrated the cover of my schoolbooks.
After ’classical’ studies (Latin amp; Greek language and culture) I went on to College to study Psychology. Fascinated by the autistic spectrum phenomenon I specialized in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapies. As I finished my Masters thesis on the ’Use of animal-assisted therapies for autistic children’ I realized that –unlike my fellow students– I really enjoyed all that writing.
In 2004 I applied for a three-months internship in the Florida Keys. As part of an amazing multidisciplinary team we worked with dolphins in therapy with special needs children. There I also met my future husband. One year later I expatriated to America following my dreams.
Quickly confronted with international diploma discrepancies I slowly resigned to the idea of a career in Psychology. It was a really though realization for me. More than anything I needed to feel useful in any way I could.
After the birth of my first child these intercultural differences overwhelming childcare fees and increasing chronic health concerns slowly pushed me to leave the corporate world. I then redefined myself as a ’stay-at-home mother’. It was time to reinvent myself –a kind of ’Tishia 2.0’.
Unable to stay put I decided to make use of my multilingual skills by translating freelance writing educational blogs and tutoring in French on online platforms.
As a ’mompreneur’ web services needed to build my business were just too expensive for me. I thus self-educated by reading expert articles watching tutorials and taking courses online. I studied graphic design web and marketing in order to build my online identity my website and then promote it.
Soon the word ’work’ didnt exist for me anymore: I found article writing to be calming marketing to be exhilarating and natural as a human behavior student web design to be captivating and graphic design to be almost therapeutic… In short I had found my ’niche’!
In the winter of 2015 I then registered INKognito a company dedicated to help cause-driven organisations expand their brand online and gain visibility nationally and internationally.
Today I am happy to help other entrepreneurs on their entrepreneurial journey.
