I#39;m an award-winning designer and creative director based in Atlanta GA. With a degree in graphic design and over 10 years of experience working with a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from government agencies to large corporations and non-profits to startups Ive come to know the many facets of design and how it can help a brand succeed. Design touches us on many levels its inescapable— if done well its a way to better experience the world in which we live. The spaces and things we surround ourselves with whether on or offline greatly impact our lives much more than we often realize so let#39;s make them smart sustainable and beautiful. By being intentional throughout all aspects of design we can create better systems better experiences and an overall better world to live in.
Aside from my work as a designer I love to travel and adventure and I feel lucky to have already traveled to so many places on my bucket list. One of my all-time favorite corners of the world is Nusa Penida in Bali—it was wild! Currently Zanzibar is my next dream destination. White sand beaches clear water yes please! For me I draw inspiration from my adventures whether traveling overseas or journeying to wild places closer to home. My husband and I own a VW van and we even road tripped it across the country a few years ago. I#39;m constantly exploring whether it be new restaurants in Atlanta or new cultures abroad. I feel most alive when I#39;m in the water; I cant get enough of surfing swimming or just enjoying the beach. If I were a cocktail Id be a jalapeno margarita—strong different a little sweet but with a kick and perfectly suited for a late-night beach party. I live in a fun corner of the creative city of Atlanta with my husband our rescue dog Bertie and our two mischievous cats Binx and Bascom.

Im the Elmers White Glue of the team. During the rebranding process I ensure that tasks and timelines flow smoothly while keeping an eye on the big picture. Im driven to create efficient systems for entrepreneurs to utilize allowing for more time to do what they truly love to do.
When Im not in my office I seek adventure in the great outdoors. Whether its hiking in New Zealand or cycling across the United States I cannot get enough fresh air. Im based out of Durham NC but Im constantly on the move with my husband and our amazing Golden Retriever Sadie.

I am a quirky and energetic although highly introverted graphic designer based in Atlanta GA. I#39;m all about effective marketing and branding in design. I truly believe that if a piece does not meet the goal of influencing the consumer in a desired way it is effectively worthless.

I am a die-hard champion of dreamers. There#39;s just something intrinsically beautiful about someone that has the ability to dream big. It takes a contrarian to be a dreamer—an optimist an overcomer. To make big dreams happen—to be a dreamer AND a doer? That takes something different something more. That takes extraordinary. I love that. I love stories about big dreams coming true. Most of all I love playing a small part in helping make those dreams happen.
Whether it is designing brand assets a website user journey or writing copy I absolutely love helping dreamers and doers tell their stories and bring their visions to life.
I started telling dreamer stories in sports. I graduated from Ole Miss with a degree in Journalism and New Media. During my last two years I worked for the campus news station as a sports reporter. As an athlete myself I knew the work the sacrifices the grit behind the glory. It was my mission to bring THAT part of the athlete story to life. I loved it and I knew I would be a story teller for the rest of my life.
I didn#39;t go into sports media. Instead I found a love for a different brand of dreamer -- small business owners and entrepreneurs. For most of the last decade I#39;ve been in the trenches with some of the most inspiring humans I could hope to know -- helping launch and grow consistent brands that represent the unique story of each venture.
I absolutely love what I do but there is something I love more -- my family! When I#39;m not working you will most assuredly find me anxiously pacing the sidelines of a soccer field on the golf course or having #39;porch picnics#39; at home in Chattanooga Tennessee with my two favorites—the hubby guy and our little dude.

I#39;m a marketing and business strategist. I#39;ve been able to use my experience working at global multinational companies like NBCUniversal and Unilever to create relevant and effective strategies and content for small and mid-sized businesses. My ability to use empathy to connect to anyone#39;s end user / customer has also served me well as a breathworker making space for others. I enjoy a hot cup of coffee silence reading and connecting with like-energied people over food.

I#39;m a novelist and content writer based in South Florida. I have worked on numerous digital and print projects throughout the years and I#39;m happiest when I can help clients achieve their branding goals through smart clean and thoughtful copy. I#39;m the author of the novel The Other Side of Everything. My short fiction and essays have appeared widely most notably in The New York Times. Although I#39;ve traveled widely I always finds my way back home where I live with my husband Chris our daughter Clara and dog Scout.

Im a writer of memoir and personal essay and I teach writing at Emerson College where I recently earned my MFA in creative nonfiction. My essays have appeared in NPR Salon Narratively and more. Ive worked as a copywriter and editor for the past seven years and my passion is creating content that ’sings’ with voice story and personality. My experience with market research and brand work coupled with my creative writing background provide me with a unique lens for the digital projects Ive been involved with. I live in the Boston area with my husband where we can often be found searching for neighborhood cats going on hikes and perusing local bookstores.

I fell in love with words as a little girl—with my etymology book in hand I aspired to learn all that I could about them and how to effectively communicate. As the owner of Pen2Paper Editorial my being in a position to help others achieve their personal writing or manuscript goals means so much to me.
