You read that correctly. We developed that first app to aid students in learning foreign languages. It was called MentorMate which if youve ever pondered the origin of our name solves that mystery. When that project concluded we began bringing other entrepreneurs software ideas to life.
Since then weve grown and evolved to cover the full spectrum of software solutions and service the technology needs of clients the world over.
Founder and CEO Bjorn Stansvik partnered with a group of developers in Bulgaria early on in our existence. They clued him into the abundant technical expertise that the country has to offer and helped grow MentorMate to include five offices across the country. Many of those original employees are still with the company today.
Now over 600 strong our Bulgarian teams pride themselves on open and honest communication. Theyre invested in our clients business challenges and bring innovative ideas to every project.
As part of Taylor Corporation were able to serve our clients while also looking to the future. From our Cloud Center of Excellence to our human-centered design approach were constantly seeking out and developing innovative solutions to budding technology problems.
The future for us also means global expansion. The addition of our Gothenburg office increases our global footprint to seven locations and allows us to further serve the European market.
Our innovative software solutions tackle specific tech challenges across several industries. While our roots are in education nearly half of our business is focused around healthcare and the large amounts of secure data that comes with it.
On the clock were technology experts and leaders that bring energy passion and knowledge to every project. Off the clock were an eclectic bunch of foodies music buffs artists sports fanatics karaoke pros and outdoor enthusiasts.
Our seven global offices span Minnesota Bulgaria and Sweden. Each of our home cities is steeped in rich culture fascinating history and plenty of seriously impressive technological talent.
