Hi there! Im Monica wife to Andy and momma to six sweet kiddos. I am grateful for opportunities to creatively express ideas and craft messages especially through website design. I love seeing the identity of a brand formed and then finding effective ways to share the passion behind that brand.
I have a Bachelors degree in Communications-Public Relations from Northwestern University St. Paul MN. Ive loved to write since I was a kid and find that creating ways to communicate concepts and ideas makes me tick.
My husband and I are grateful for the privilege of being able to live overseas for four years which taught us a lot. Along the way I have had the opportunity to work for and volunteer for several amazing non-profits.
When Im not busy working on a project you can most likely find me at one of our kids activities or helping at church. I love running and am fueled by coffee and dark chocolate!
As a designer and dad living with my wife Torie and our two little boys imagination and discovery is a way of life. From Lego to logos theres always something exciting to create and I love it. Ideas are thrilling and creation is fulfilling.
I studied graphic design and communications from MSUM (Minnesota State University Moorhead) and received my Bachelors degree in 2013. Since then Ive been blessed to work full-time in lead design positions at Forum Communications Company and Concordia College Moorhead Minnesota. Between the two Ive had a chance to design so many exciting things – from hats to logos magazines to interactive web ads – even a basketball court!
If Im not designing Im likely working hard to keep my two active boys alive while they run climb and explore this big exciting world. For my own personal enjoyment I either head outdoors to play some disc golf or stay indoors for some competitive video/board games or sports (foil fencing).
