Were principally a husband and wife team and we partner with some very talented and deeply experienced folks. Were fortunate that we work well together. Would that be considered a business partner with benefits or a spouse with benefits? ?
Were fortunate that we both really enjoy what we do. As were together all the time were always talking about client and industry things. Some couples enjoy themselves playing tennis together. We enjoy learning new things attending industry conferences hanging out with others who also work in this space and working on client projects together. Kinda weird huh?
Over the years working in the ’new economy’ weve had the opportunity to work with and learn from some of the smartest people in the industry. Weve also been fortunate enough to partner with some on client work.
Before getting into Internet Marketing back in the mid 90s we were direct marketers working in the catalog industry. If you know anything about that industry youll know it is fundamentally a communications and analytics driven marketing discipline.

Were marketers but were also story tellers and fans of the spoken word art form. Many many years ago we were introduced to and grew to love the artful and human expression of story telling. Garrison Keillor Bill Cosby Ira Glass Scott Simon Azrienoch and many more of our generation Will Rogers and so many others whove gone before. Among our favorite things to do is attend storytelling festivals like the Illinois Storytelling Festival and Open Mic Story Telling venues like Chicagos 2nd Story and New Yorks The Moth. This appreciation finds application all over in what we advocate for our clients. The science of storytelling: Why telling a story is the most powerful way to activate our brains.
