Leanne is the General Manager and runs the day to day operations and project management for large jobs. She is also is the lead sales person for the company.
Leannes philosophy is being a trusted advisor taking the time and focusing on becoming an integrated part of our clients visual marketing plan. The true goal is being their one stop shop for all of their printing and signage needs. She believes in a partnership with the clients and fostering trust in that relationship.
Prior to running The Sign Authority Leanne has over 15 years of experience in teaching training leadership sales and marketing. It has been her passion to help people develop their gifts through education and enhance their marketing and sales strategies in business.
Prior to opening the Sign Authority Leanne was a fine arts teacher and program director for the computer graphics education curriculum to district 181 in Hinsdale. She was a team leader and a mentor to new teachers assigned through a formal mentoring program. She assisted in the development and implementation of a district wide K-8 arts curriculum to provide fine arts learning to over 3500 students across five schools. She has served as the Chairperson for the Women in Business for the Wheaton Chamber of Commerce and as the Director of the Naperville Chapter of Dynamic Professional Women in Business Organization as is currently on the Board of Directors for the Wheaton Chamber of Commerce.
Leanne remains passionate about the arts and continues to soothe her creative soul by painting drawing gardening cooking reading and participating in general ’crafty’ activities. She also enjoys waterskiing (with skis only) snow skiing (only in the spring and when it is sunny) scuba diving and travel. Last but definitely not least spending time her children Eric and his wife Stephanie granddaughters Felicity Olivia amp; Penolope and two daughters Jennifer amp; Hannah is her most favorite pastime. She is truly blessed with a wonderful family and cherishes every minute with them.

Prior to opening The Sign Authority Rick was responsible for setting up the corporate structure and business development for another start up enterprise; a national tele-medical service utilizing ER doctors. Prior to that he had extensive experience working in the corporate world as a Senior Director for Siemens Building Technologies in the Security Systems division running an $80M division and as a Senior Sales Director in the Fire Alarm Division.
Rick has always had passion for helping build a better community and is currently on the Board of Directors for the Wheaton Chamber of Commerce. He also serves on the Downtown Wheaton Association Committee as the Board Liaison for the Chamber. Prior to living in Wheaton Rick lived in New Jersey and served as a volunteer Fire Fighter for his home town of Hampton. He has been a devoted community servant his entire life. One of his proudest accomplishments was leading development of a Rural Paramedic Program in Hunterdon County NJ and to this day the organization serves over 120000 people.
Its not all work and no play however. Ricks passions include snow skiing water skiing (with and without skis) scuba diving running marathons and triathlons and spending time with his wife and daughter.
