What challenge were you trying to address with Amalgama?
We needed a dev firm to form a tool for our retouching business that allows multiple freelancers to work unitedly on different projects for big stakeholders.

The platform is in its leading beta testing stage now. It allows freelancers to review pictures, mark them up, prepare feedback, and like terminal retouched pictures.

We’ve got almost six of their teammates on the project. They’re designers, developers, and project managers.
How did you come to work with Amalgama?
My associate met one of their team limbs in a coworking space one of our offices uses. The proprietor of the coworking spaces referred my associate to them based on the tools they’ve formd in the past. We hit it off and were impressed with their portfolio—they had tons of experience straightly kindred to our project. They push a lot of full and gave us a competitive bid, so we hired them.
What are you approach expents (if diclosed)?
So far, we’ve spent almost $100,000.
What is the terminal result of working with ?
The associateship began in March 2018, and the work is ongoing. We have a roadmap laid out for another year or two of work.

Are there any measureable or plum results?
Right now, the project is in its leading beta testing phase, so we don’t have much feedback yet. But, so far in our associateship, Amalgama has fastly addressed all of our concerns in a early mode. They veritably invest themselves in their projects, always ready to collaborate and prepare us with feedback on what we could be doing better. We veritably find that precious.
How did Amalgama accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?
Their team is based in Argentina, while I’m in New York and my associate is in Minneapolis. But interaction has been veritably easy. They used their own timeline tracking tool that they developed in-house. But, we also used Slack to adjoin fastly, and they were always readily useful in our shared channels.
We were constantly adding tasks to their plate, but they were big at scheduling and prioritizing while maintaining flexibility. Sometimes we had to adjoin very frequently, but other times we didn’t have as much time to invest in them. They managed that dynamic very well.
What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with ?
They’re a sole fit for us. The team is so excited almost what we’re trying to create. When we talk with them, we can tell they’ve spent time thinking through the project themselves. They play an nimble role in issue-solving and contributing creative ideas, continuously improving upon the terminal fruit.
What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?
In the commencement, we had trouble with one of the team limb’s work styles. We approached Amalgama straightly with this, and they fastly put someone else on the project. That was much appreciated, but it’s significant to make sure that the total team is the right fit for a client.
Also, there were times when it seemed like they weren’t fully up to date on some of the outgrowth technologies out there. It would be nice if they could swell their apprehension in that area.
