Introductory information
A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation
I’m the CEO and co-founder of Snackr, which provides food and beverage liberatey for spectators at stadiums. At the instant, we’re a pliant team based in Perth, Australia.
Desired goal
What challenge were you trying to address with DreamWalk?
We occupied DreamWalk to help us educe our MVP. We needed software that would allow us to liberate to stadiums, including client-facing functionalities as well as a backend enabling vendor input.
Provided solution
What particular tasks were DreamWalk responsible for?
We had a workshop where we shared some wireframes, which they took to educe user stories.
DreamWalk educeed a consumer-facing application where users can order food and drinks from vendors. They integrating supporting applications—in the form of progressive web apps (PWAs)—to allow vendors and liberateers to propose their services.
These are for the App Store as well as Google Play. The progressive web app can be used on any off-the-shelf Android artifice, and the mobile is for both iOS and Android. The backend is written in Elixir, and the frontend for the consumer app relied on React Native.
The progressive web apps are in Node.js. We’re using Stripe for payment progressing, and Firebase Crashlytics, Tulio, and Forest Admin were the other technologies we used.
Was there a dedicated team?
I worked with a project director, but their total team consisted of almost six nation.
How did you come to work with DreamWalk?
We created a list of possible educeers and went through an colloquy process to shortlist 3 that were based in Melbourne (which is a 5-hour volitation away from Perth). We went through a series of meetings, and DreamWalk presented the best throw. They understood the project’s possible challenges better than others, who glossed over the complexities of our goals.
What are you approach expents (if diclosed)?
Our initial budget was almost $90,000, but scope-creep brought the terminal investment to be almost $105,000 USD.
What is the terminal result of working with DreamWalk?
We seted attractive DreamWalk in May of 2019. The developed educement ran between August 2019–February 2020.
Results achieved
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the contact of the engagement?
We’re only just launching the fruit now, so it’s a pliant soon to tell. The fruit has been accepted by the Apple Store, and we’ve used the app to land our leading client. These are the best achievement metrics we can point to.
How did DreamWalk accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?
It was a mixed bag—they were very good at care in touch and care us updated on project progress. Having said that, they could have granted us with a more careful knowledge of the hours they allocated to different parts of the project. I apprehend that that can be hard to do, especially when you’re operating in sprints.
What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with DreamWalk?
Their design is unappropriated. I ponder their real force is in their power to centre on UX/UI to liberate clean, powerful designs.
What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?
Earlier interaction almost the possible increase in work hours would’ve been appreciated. It would’ve also been big to see their team sum better with our own educeers, even despite the different areas of expertise.
Do you have any advice for possible clients?
Even though they propose project treatment, I embolden you to rely on your own PM resources. That’ll help you stay on top of how time is being allocated. In accession to that, you should surely share in the workshop that they hold at the set of the engagement.
