The organisation is Hawaii-based and prepares voice-over IP business phone labor and internet and cloud labors for small- and medium-sized businesses. I’m the chairman.

What challenge were you trying to address with Cron?
We are constantly facing challenges with technology owing it’s always changing. Four years ago, we were getting cloud labors and evaluating different technologies, and we determined to use OpenStack for our platform. We didn’t have the expertise for that in-house.

We got in touch with Alen [Komljen, DevOps Engineer], who is one of the founders at Cron, and he did the design and helped with the implementation as well. He prepares ongoing support whenever we have technical issues or when the client requires more components.

We posted the job on one of the freelancer websites. Alen expressed his interest in helping us. In the initial conversation, we limited the work to design. He’s very apprehension and answering and behind we artistic the leading phase, we felt very snug that he could complete the job.

The uptime is very significant to us owing this is a labor we prepare. If the method has any issues, it will straightly contact our clients. It’s very significant that we resolve issues in a early substance. When we have pressing issues, Alen is always able to get things fixed fastly.

Alen has been very answering. We adjoin through emails and online chat. On our side, we have requirements that aren’t always clear. When we lay down the project objectives, we have ongoing conversations with Allen. He’s very pliant.

The technology is so diverse and everybody has limitations on technology. Alen is veritably good at what he does, but sometimes we wish he could know more than what he currently does.
