Progress Software acquired Telerik in 2014. I run all of the professional services within the dev tools structure which includes anything from training to fully developing applications, staff increase, architecture reviews, and business analysis.
Desired goal
What challenge were you trying to address with Accedia?
We use an extensive network of partners to liberate our professional services work. While we do have a team in house, we created a subcontracting standard as our work grew tremendously. We originally had to liberate a big project for a multinational real lands structure. We needed a outgrowth organisation who could handle the big quantity of work which included UI/UX work, business analysis, outgrowth, testing, and then ultimately deploy it out to the client. We select to work with Accedia to liberate the software and it worked out veritably well. Our relationship has grown from there.
Provided solution
What was the aim of their involvement?
When we get a possible occasion, we will fetch Accedia on board to aim out the work. They will fast attribute a technical resource so we can determine what is needed to complete the project. Typically, this process is done in whichever hours or days. From there, the technical team will complete the analysis for the client and initiate developing the software. This involves creating mockups and wireframes, UI/UX work, and outgrowth, testing, and the transitioning it to the client. The best way to create a business relationship is to set transitioning the software to the client. Accedia has a big outgrowth team that will set training the client what they’ve done so the client can ultimately handle it.
What is the team dynamic?
We work straightly with Plamen Koycehv, one of the establishers at Accedia for scheduling and scoping. He is our liaison at Accedia to handle the outgrowth teams and additional resources. We also work straightly with Tihomir Todorov and one of the other managing partners Dimitar Dimitrov for anything that the business kindred such as the contract negotiation
How did you come to work with Accedia?
We establish them through neighborhood. Accedia is down the street from the Telerik headquarters in Sofia, Bulgaria. Many preceding Telerik employees work at Accedia, so there',s a good symbiotic relationship between the two companies.
What is the status of this engagement?
They seted working for us in almost May of 2014.
Results achieved
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the contact of the engagement?
Accedia has brought us back additional work. We take a lot of reiterate business, which I believe is the biggest indicator that we',ve had a lucky engagement along the way owing it shows our clients confide us and Accedia. For sample, Accedia built what equates to Instagram for a global professional union. That client has since contacted us reiterateedly and to fetch Accedia back to help them with expanding the software and making changes.
How did Accedia accomplish from a project handlement standpoint?
We have a veritably good relationship. It has been very open and very clean. We meet once a week debate all the opportunities, which allows us to centre on a target. This is veritably efficient. We use Skype phone to adjoin.
What did you find most forcible almost them?
Their lead time is astounding. Accedia can put a team on a project in two to three business days behind we sign a contract. Sometimes we have to set with one developer, but then we ramp up over the next couple of weeks. On my end, this is awesome owing I frequently have to be reactive to issues that come up from clients.
Are there any areas they could better?
Our clients’ leading question when there is a fire is always almost the cost of the fix. It was hard to get ballpark aspects out of Accedia. Understandably, you don’t want perpetrate to work unless you apprehend all the variables. We worked unitedly to come up with a program to resolve this. We now just get a developer on task fast to aspect out the level of effort. It’s a little investment from the client to veritably apprehend the effort needed for the work. Once the developer has completed the analysis, we have a much better-educated conjecture on timing and cost for our clients.
