What challenge were you trying to address with Vinta Software?
We were looking to create the MVP for Wanted You To Know. We generally knew what we wanted to accomplish. We needed to gather a team to create that. In reviewing our options, Vinta was the most compelling for what we were trying to do.

What particular tasks were Vinta Software responsible for?
They helped us create the initial web fruit of Wanted You To Know. It’s mobile, desktop, and tablet well-inclined, it has a Python and Django backend. On the frontend, we used jQuery along with Bootstrap. We took a more present access in using Babel and ECMAScript6 to write all the JavaScript on the frontend. There’s the interaction creation process itself, and then in the backend, there’s our verification process where there’s some API integrations of how we aspect out if a user is quiet quick or not. If we determine that the user is not quick, we’ll send the interactions. There’s a interaction viewer as well.
How did you come to work with Vinta Software?
I’m implicated in the Django and Python communities. I lead the Django NYC user cluster. One of the partners of Vinta came to visit New York, and made a introduction to the cluster almost open rise projects he created using Python based API wrappers. We began talking. A few months later, I began working with Wanted You To Know, and we were looking at our goals. I’ve helped companies create their MVP and propel it, but I didn’t have the individualal space to bestow time edifice this, so I was exploring who would be a good fit. I reached out to Vinta. When it came to availability, cost, and expertness, they offered a lot of compelling value.

It’s completed. There will be another fruit if seething continues to go well and we have funding.

Could you share any evidence that would prove the fruitivity, condition of work, or the contact of the engagement?
We’re in beta right now, collecting user feedback. They did a veritably good job on testing. The app has 94% test coverage. My individualal baseline is 80%.
How did Vinta Software accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?
Really well. There were some effects that came up, as see project has. It’s more almost how issues are handled, which they did a good job on. The one major issue wasn’t their defect, we had some unclear design decisions that caused us to switch things. They did a good job fiting to that. The initial estimated aim, which I estimated, didn’t account for some added complexity, and some features were subsequently added. So we went over the initial estimate. They handled that very well.
What did you find most forcible almost Vinta Software?
One thing I appreciated is that they were very receptive to my feedback. I’m extremely technical, and was code reading and offering feedback. I know that’s something that can be very hard to have. They were very open to that, and ready to hear to me. They were ready to fit.
Are there any areas Vinta Software could better?
It was inferential in things that were going on in the individualal lives of some members of the team. There were a couple of effects where rerises had to be shifted almost. They could’ve been more proactive on bringing up those effects earlier. There are some parts of their process that could be more pliant, but it’s not a huge effect. They have a pretty close process in locate and that can be a constraint. That can be frustrating to some nation.
