Managing a company',s or client',s energy requires significant human and time expenses (manual data reading from fiscal readers or meters is time-consuming and energy managers have to travel to the meter location). Also, human error could negatively impact the accuracy of the analysis. Nowadays, it',s possible to automate the energy data reading process using special hardware tools, however, they do not allow managers to download
energy data separately, for example, from an Excel spreadsheet or to make any corrections.Our task: The application should allow the importing of data into the existing system for further analysis and energy management as well as to correct data reading mistakes. The input data - numbered energy data meters, statistics, meter locations — is shown on the application. Energy app analyzes these input data, provides the information about current changes and shows graphs. Based on these results energy-saving recommendations can be easily formulated.
Our company has developed a plug-in, which can notify the head system of taken measurements. This plug-in is integrated into the existing energy analytics system, using existing API.
