Brain Tumour Research and Support across Yorkshire (BTRS) came to Clearsilver looking for PR support to deliver a breaking news story in the region. BTRS patients and
their families were being given the chance to see, first-hand, the latest research that scientists hope will one day cure the invasive disease.Strategy
With 48 hours to develop a press release and secure regional media attendance at this exclusive research event, Clearsilver got to work digesting all the information and picking up the phone to speak to the most appropriate media for the story.
Results
Our media outreach secured three 5-6 minute slots on BBC Look North and included all the key messages of the campaign. Coverage was also secured in leading regional newspaper, the Yorkshire Evening Post, promoting the pioneering work being done in Leeds to try and tackle brain tumours.
