Introductory information
A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation
We are a design and technology studio with a centre on frontend and PHP outgrowth. I am the CEO and establisher of the organisation.
Desired goal
We don’t engage a lot of weighty backend outgrowth, and, for this particular project, we needed help with Django and Python. The goal for our client was to create an inner tool for them to use to send invoices and track time.Provided solution
What particular tasks were Layertech responsible for?
Layertech built the backend of our inner tool using Django, while we handled the frontend. They formd a user-treatment method through which the client can add staff limbs. Then, each limb can log in, track hours, and form invoices based on that data or using a manner format. We built the tool for a client in Croatia that specializes in hearing aids.
What is the team dynamic?
I interacted solely with their establisher and developer. He handled the interaction with the rest of the team.
How did you come to work with Layertech?
I had been in touch with Prashant [Consultant and Software Architect, Layertech] for a long time, having establish him on Twitter about 10 years earlier. We kept in touch and, when I needed this type of labor, I touched him and asked for a cite.
What is the terminal result of working with Layertech?
We began working with Layertech at the commencement of 2017, about February. We built the initial fruit within the leading 3 months, by the end of May. The client has requested some changes and updates, but the project is basically done.
Results achieved
Are there any measureable or plum results?
They delivered all on the backend side, and we accepted real feedback from the client. We’ve worked with this client for the past 3 years, initially on some basic tasks. This was our leading intricate project, and I’m hoping that we’ll work on more correspondent projects for them, since they are lucky with the results.
How did Layertech accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?
They were reliable in provisions of delivering on time and on budget. The initial work was done below budget, but the client required additional changes, which meant we incurred additional costs.
We interacted principally through Slack, and all went smoothly. They also use JIRA and Bitbucket, and I’m connected to Prashant on Skype. We haven’t met their team in-person yet.
What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with Layertech?
The ease of interaction was forcible—they responded fastly to all our messages. They also granted good code condition.
What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?
No. We’re lucky with what they delivered.
Do you have any advice for forthcoming clients of theirs?
They’re costly but worth it.
