Business Challenge:CoffeeSender is a platform which allows users to send coffees in one of three ways, through a Salesforce integration, by copying an email address into the bcc field or by using the one-click method from coffeesender.com. We were asked to build the platform and integrate APIs such as Salesforce.com.
Solution:We first ensured that all three methods worked for
sending coffees by conducting rigorous testing. Starting with a Salesforce integration and then moving onto the other methods where mailgun picks up the email and sends a voucher to the coffee recipient, we built and tested the systems to ensure it worked seamlessly. The system can integrate with any coffee retailer and currently it is integrated with Starbucks.Technologies Used: Ruby on Rails
